While you guys are all singing that it's all about luck do you remember the "Predicting octopus" who used to predict things exactly and he even predicted one of the biggest upsets in sports.

I am not saying that everyone has that ability or you will always win when your wife sits near you but actually there are somethings which we human cannot know and there lies no proof. We all ( well mostly ) believe in God while can anyone prove it ?

Haha this is nice thread, I tried before going to a Bingo Center with my pregnant wife and every time i only need 1-2 box i always rub my wife stomach for luck and guess what, I've finish playing Bingo that day and never won any.

There is no such thing as luck ---> it's not real!  And, having a girlfriend, or any other distraction, nearby you while you are trying to calculate probabilities, evaluate equities, and determine bet sizes will only jeopardize your bankroll.  Gambling is based on probabilities, expected values, and good decision making skills ---> not luck.  Take the girlfriend someplace else if you want to get lucky, like a spa ---> not a casino!

You have some correct points there like having your wife near you would only result in emotional decisions and miscalculations. But actually gambling is all about luck because if winning was possible from gambling then gambling sites would have been closed quite a long back ago.

                   I guess you were right dude. It is exactly distractions while few people prefer it as their lucky charms, but personally, it was all about your luck, well experienced gamblers often make mistakes sometimes even though they are already veteran on that field, its because its not about skills or how they calculate, purely luck, but they can manage losses more than the others can do, or they already knew what it takes to be  broke so they will do the otherwise, but still some experienced gamblers are mostly addicted to gambling, not so sure but that is how i see it.

I remember that but didn’t the octopus at the end made some mistakes as well, anyway one thing you need to understand is that happens, sometimes some people are able to guess correctly, I remember that a few years ago the patriots won 19 out of 25 coin tosses which is too high and I even saw speculations they were cheating with that too.

Luck doesn’t exist. Casinos make money because of that. Winning poker players also make money because of that, whereas most losers will tell you that poker is a matter of luck.

How many samples are you taking into account to state that? A million samples? Because if that is the case I will start considering you have some science baking your claim.

Correlation does not imply causation. The fact that you win in a casino game after farting doesn’t mean that you won because the fart brought you luck.

This is just a thought inside a person's mind and Casino owner capitalized on this through their marketing and promotional campaign.  Gambling games is govern by chance in a scientific view.  The possibility of a number to occur relies on the internal setup of the system and not by the girl besides us when we are playing gambling games.  Rather this girls are just distraction .

I think woman is not the reason why you lose or not but the thing is the lucky is within yourself. It is on how you play the game. The more the knowledgeable you are the more you win because winning you should have the knowledge and ability to play the game.

Ha-ha that is amazing. You can’t make two complex thing one you are so right that both the things you are dealing with now are complex. One is more than other in all cases.

So it merely depends if you are not influenced by woman beside you or not, if that woman is other than your girlfriend. If she is so, then dude you are being influenced at 440 volts.
