We've begun a FAQ at
https://novusphere.io/Home/FAQ in which we've already received some suggestions on what to add and will be continuing to expand upon this over the next few days with some other important questions (i.e. will there be paywalls). If you have any suggestions on what to add to the FAQ, please feel free to post or reach out to us on Discord. The main site has also been updated slightly to point to the FAQ as well as the current main market (Cryptopia) where atmos is traded.
I had mentioned on Discord we would be revising the time line for things. For clarification as someone asked about closed testing, this refers to the team (Novus) doing internalized tests and tweaks. When open testing has begun, those who have requested to be a part of it on Discord will be given a guide on how they can help. With that said, it's important to emphasize on the wording
"our estimated current time line" in the previous post as things may change as we run into new problems or decide it's important to add new features before the official release.
The revised timeline is as follows:
- July 1st: Begin closed testing of spv/web wallet
- July 14th: Begin open testing of spv/web wallet, bug fixes, feedback
- July 28th: Revised release candidate, testing of release candidate
- August 14th: Official (stable) release
This adjusted time line ensures that things aren't as rushed and hopefully if there are unforeseen problems our estimates aren't too far off as there's now some leeway. Given the significance of August the 1st in terms of Bitcoin politics, it's also advantageous in terms of publicity to shift the planned stable release away from this date.
Regarding translations, nearing the time of the stable release we'll be looking to bring a few people on to help with translations (including important posts, website content and the new wallet software). This will also allow us to advance on a PR front as we'll have much more work to show in terms of what has been done so far.
Thanks for your understanding and support!
