But after all wars people have survived, and i think people will always find a way to survive some new war. China is not at war with other countries. They only create a hotbed of tension, but in open war do not come. I think that now the Americans will be at war with North Korea, and the Chinese try to capitalize on this conflict themselves dividends.

Yeah, I agree with you if we look at the history we are always trying to kill each other, perhaps it's in our nature to eradicate our own kind so that another generation might endure. The war amongst ourselves is unavoidable but we can minimize the probability of it occurrence. May be, the third world war is going to be about a financial sector as one of you guys mentioned earlier based on "cyberwar" as I read on the Bloomberg Business Week lately. Can't say with 100% surety. If the strikes are limited in nature, i.e targeting just a few of the military facilities, then I don't think that China and Russia will retaliate physically. But then, if the strikes are wide-spread and causing huge number of collateral casualties, then I can't predict how China is going to react. Russia will most probably supply arms and ammunition, but they are likely to stay away from a direct conflict.

Actually that notion is so overplayed it's nauseating.

There was a great video on youtube of an American soldier in the Iraq 'war'. He had set up his video camera to record his 'assault' on a hill. Of course he was the star of his little movie, a real hero. In the beginning of the Iraq war a lot of hero soldiers would upload their heroic heroism videos to youtube, and people would email youtube asking if there were going to be prosecutions etc, or comment that the soldiers were in fact jackasses not heroes, until finally those videos were banned, probably the army put a sanction on soldiers videos.

Real wars produce real soldiers. Fake wars produce fake soldiers and that leads to a messed up society. At some level most of the soldiers in these fake wars realize that they are being asked not to defend something good, but to pretend something, and so war today is about pretending, not defending. If you are a good enough bullshitter you might become a general.
