30 btc is nothing. It will disappear quick. BTC is in a civil-war losing hype to etherscam day by day! Better exchange your btc for ftc =) Or you can go gamble on etherscam, putting your wealth in hand of greedy bankers waiting to fuck you over!

Buy high and sell low

@aciddude
Thanks for your interest.

No Problem - The Feathercoin Community is happy to help out whenever we can.

Could you let me know which one build guide have you used or what steps you have followed so I could try to reproduce them?

I've written a guide and posted it on the Feathercoin Forums, it covers LinuxMint 17.3, Ubuntu 16.04 and Ubuntu 14.04  - I tested the same build instructions on clean VMs from OsBoxes.org

http://forum.feathercoin.com/topic/8902/build-feathercoin-0-9-6-on-linuxmint-ubuntu

if you configure a VM with 8GB ram and 2x Virtual Processors then following the guide you should have Feathercoin-qt v0.9.6 built in 30 mins or so ;-)

let me know if you get stuck anywhere.

Thanks very much aciddude. I was finally able to build 0.9.6 wallet from sources using tips from your guide. I didn't follow it directly but at last realised the problem was zxing.
Though it is not very urgent now, may you could try to prepare a guide for building 0.11 version? Just thinking about the future release that is supposed to come...

Thanks to whoever dumped their bags and filled my buy order. Smiley

There are tons of coins in the #50-100 position on Coinmarketcap with no actual developer, no website, no updates.
Taking a small gamble on FTC is a really good position IMO.
I'm reading the forums and its good to know people still care about this coin.
This could still 2x by the time block reward halves.

This.

Agreed. Of all the total garbage coins out there that were created for no other purpose other than to scam others and make the dev rich... why are they valued higher than a coin like Feathercoin? I will admit, FTC has had a rough life but even with all the negativity its still here. Active, hashing away just like it was designed to.

you're not clever... coming on here and saying the price will go down as it is going up just makes you seem like a complete idiot.

Hello Again.

When we move to 0.11 and beyond ;-)  all the guides I have written on https://forum.feathercoin.com/category/46/guides will be updated for the users who like building Feathercoin themselves.

This includes, Arch Linux, Ubuntu (and ubuntu based distros), MacOS, CentOS.... I also have notes on Windows Building and I just need to make a guide out of it.

So just be sure to check out the forums as Feathercoin rolls out updates :-)

Yes and to be honest with you, that "negativity" is so far in the past that we should all just move on. It's a lovely coin that's wicked fast!

Being GPU mineable really makes it fun and things like eHRC which was developed for Feathercoin works realyl well when there's a sudden addition of hashrate to the network!

Don't waste your time fighting market manipulations practices. It isn't worth it. What does FTC really need is to focus on the development and documentation. My requirements have already been met thanks to your efforts. Many people will appreciate it, especially business operators. For me this was a milestone from what we had for half a year since 0.8 sources had become obsolete and no one could answer simple questions about what was going on. The coin must be reliable and open at the first place. It must be also actively maintained, developed and predictable. All these features combined together will decide about it's value and future soon or later. The coin is just a software...
