I have found 6000 Feathercoins on my old PC:) Unfortunately it doesn't make me reach:) So I think that I should forget about this FTC wallet for nec 5 year nad check the price of FTC in 2023. Maybe I will more lucky:)

I recommend putting it on an exchange like binance and sell at the next bull run. I like Feathercoin but let's be honest, it's no litecoin

In relative comments on the success of this coin for 5 years from now, can we believe these thoughts? Maybe yes or maybe not, but yes if really are in the plans of this coin 10 years after its creation, 2023 your prices will be high. Leaving the speculative idea aside, at the present moment can we really believe in this currency?

From my point of view, FTC has stable base devs, good development, strong community, stable POW network with ASIC/FPGA resistant algo,  ... that all is more than other 50-70% of cryptocurrencies, they do not have it and will never have. You have to realize that 3/4 of coins were created only for speculations on the exchanges, a lots of them with huge premines.
eg, I use FTC and LTC almost every week for real txs within my friends and others, not only for speculative buy/sells at exchanges. Really do not think that 3/4 of current coins will be alive years later, I only know that FTC will be one of the successful.

Stable devs ? lol

I exposed them for the scammers they are years ago thanks to their public and private mining software/ kernels.

What a DEV!

There is more to have a cryptocurrency than one full node implementation.

We (https://feathercoin.foundation) are working on Electrum-FTC (https://github.com/Feathercoin-Foundation/electrum-ftc), a new desktop wallet (supporting all hardware wallets as well as Bitcoin and Litecoin), a new point-of-sales app (also with FTC, LTC and BTC), a new full node implementation based on libbitcoin (https://libbitcoin.org/) and a few other things. All with Lightning on the roadmap.

Some more background information about the people involved and who is supporting us: https://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/sharing-foundation_feathercoin-out-to-prove-it-s-no-lightweight/43993544

You have been told many times, but you don't seem to have listened. The first NeoScrypt GPU miner, CGminer v3.7.x, was slow. The community hired a programmer for this job who had no prior experience with crypto and even no AMD GPU for testing. Yet the miner worked and was open source. Wolf0 improved it and kept a faster version for himself and his private sales. WTF had you expected the FTC devs to do with it? When I had time and hardware available, I wrote NSGminer and released it open source with no private kernels.

2023 is 5 years from now, which is a little under the amount of time FTC has been around. I think its very hard to predict where it'll be simply because it offers nothing new, its basically a litecoin adaptation. I think it could be worth a few bucks if they get some partnerships and adoption, but otherwise it'll be gone before 2019 is over

That's an old debate, but it's actually Litecoin offering nothing new to Bitcoin these days. Feathercoin has done something in a different way.

BTCPay, the open source payment processor software, gets support for Feathercoin thanks to ChekaZ !

What this means in practice:
- Merchants can now easily accept FTC themselves, being fully independent
- Payment processors, brokers and exchanges can just use BTCPay and offer that as a service for companies that want to accept FTC (as well as BTC, LTC)
- As soon as we have Lightning ported for Feathercoin we get instant Lightning support ootb for merchants thanks to BTCPay !

Thanks again for ChekaZ for doing all the implementation work.

Feathercoin combines all the best qualities of the most popular tokens. But at the same time, people are in no hurry to switch to FTC coins, using their analogues, which occupy leading positions in the market. The low price of the FTC is due to low demand, and it remains unclear whether this situation will change in the near future. Many believe that, Yes. The Feathercoin site works stably, the project has its fans engaged in FTC mining, which is so easy to produce in the good old way, not already effective for most coins – on the processor and video card.
