Is it profitable to mine with a gtx 950?

probably not, better use a rig instead of home PC

So what do you guys think?
Considering all the original alts are getting massive jumps in price, i think its looking like feathercoins time has arrived.

Same here, Ive held coins for awhile and over the last couple years I started buying more on the lows. Feathercoin is one of the oldest still active coins. Its had its share of ups and downs. Its not going to rise up over night, it will continue steadily grinding along in he background until its day is here. Its like that old UNIX mainfame sitting in the back room of the office building. Its been there for years, its neglected and abused. No one even remembers it being there or even realizes that its running - but it is. Still running, still spiting out numbers and doing everything its been asked to do.... for years and years.

FTC is also on of the first coins I bought... I grabbed a bunch of the larger org alts.  I got 2k FTC.. not much but ya.. it was worth more at the time lol..

Any suggestion which miner would work on windows 10, AMD RX 480 system?

I tried https://github.com/ghostlander/nsgminer

I can't get nsgminer.exe to work. Just shows a blank screen with blinking terminal cursor.

nsgminer.exe --api-listen -k neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:17012 -u Etherion.ws10 -p x --gpu-threads 1 --worksize 64 --intensity 13 --thread-concurrency 64

Any suggestions?

never used --api-listen, besides that it looks good. - Any Firewall/Stuff that could block the miner?

Kindly regards,
ChekaZ

I have checked and it is clear. Tested it on my laptop with amd fire pro gpu and get the same problem at home and a the site.all.other miners work.

I have tried window 7 and 10. From the latest driver to 15.12. Sam problem. Get blank screen with blinking cursor.
