There have been no recent updates, so your analysis "bug in the newly updated neoscrypt blockchain!" is senseless. You're trying to make it seem like unreleased developments can effect the mining difficulty 

FTC is definitely in an accumulation cycle at the moment, so bad news like this serves to shake out the weak hands. Fortunately, there's nothing to see here.

I've updated the v0.8 branch to the production status again. Pools and exchanges should stay on v0.9 for now, but v0.8 is just fine for personal use. It syncs faster than v0.9 at the very least.

Price. If you look back at its FTC/BTC price history this is getting quite low. Its been around for years so lots of data to look at. FTC had a huge spike last year as well which put the price 25X where it is today. There was plenty of volume and time for holders to sell some FTC for profit during that (25X was the peak, but it was still way up for a long time). Will happen again as the coin is old and was once the #3 coin for quite a while. Old BTC whales remember FTC well. Stable coins with solid dev support and old community members always shoot up again if you wait long enough.....Also looking at market cap, coin is almost #250 and falling behind other older coins. No reason for that, dev team is great, coin well maintained.

Caveat: recently FTC lost its biggest trade volume exchange when 19800.com closed. That legitimately could have caused its recent losses against other coins. But again, that probably just creates a buy opportunity. Chinese political/legal problems with crypto will probably clear up and somewhere another popular FTC/CNY pair will pop up.

Indeed the price of FTC is getting low if we look at the charts but the coin has been here for a long time wich means is still usefull , like buying coffee for instead. The coin has had it's ups and downs , more downs to be honest but I'm sure we haven't saw the full potential of feathercoin and it's still a good chance to buy and hold the coin , because it's not far from where she left the bottom some months ago. Who knows how the feathercoins days will look like in 1 year , maybe some projects will want to use the coin for different markets out there , mobile gaming industry seems a nice chance in the future. I'm still holding my coins no matter what.

IF you're a member of the slack or forum, you'd know that Segwit and lightning are coming in the next year. Looking at the charts, FTC has also bottomed out. Now is the time to be accumulating.
