Hello everyone!

I wanted to know if there's a section dedicated to investors finding projects in which they want to invest (Non- ICO projects).

There are loans, but what we have at the moment, doesn't meet the requirement for collateral.

Thanks!

I believe the closest thing we have for such investments in the "Securities" section. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=78.0

Good luck on getting investors on your project if you are looking for any. Smiley

That's what I was thinking, although I haven't visited that section since probably 2015, and sometimes I forget that it even still exists.  I think most of the projects there have "securitized" their businesses in order to simplify things, but I'm not sure.  It's like an OTC stock market there if I'm not mistaken.

I'm not sure how much non-ICO stuff is going on here on bitcointalk--but we probably need more of it as long as it's above-board.

We definitely need more projects community members can be a part of. As far as I’m aware, NastyFans is pretty much the only community organization left standing. Although it is no surprise that there aren’t many/any other community revenue sharing projects given the unfounded attacks directed at NastyFans and supporters from evil forum members. It is this behavior and the blind eyes allowing it that is holding back the community from building fun trustworthy projects that everyone can participate in.

Strange, how come I never bumped into this "securities" section. Not that I am an investor, but it's a bit of relief to see projects raising funds via non-ICO methods. But even this section is seemingly filled with scam projects. (People raising funds for bunny farms!)
The only trusted guy I could find was Loyce V. Are there any projects worth looking in that section? Also do investors fund projects on say Kickstarter, Indiegogo?

Kickstarter takes big cut. We haven't really tried that, and also people get funded there via fiat, we are looking for crypto, since everything paid here is in crypto.

It's true that Kickstarter's fee is high, the possibilities though to get funded is far more better.
As for the payments you can "add" (not through the official ways of payments) crypto payments. Isn't usual but i've seen it happen in some projects.

Your best bet would to be create a website with lots of information with a contact form and then drive traffic to it.

Most of the real investors won't believe a random bitcointalk post

I did not think we have any other sections than the Ann section of this forum because most of the altcoins are announced there.  There are also some telegram group that notified you about new projects and some investors are among the members of those groups.  Most of the investors visit the Ann section and from there looks for information about the project they may like to invest in.

I never got into this security section, I think because I'm mostly  on Announcement section of the forum to check about new projects. I guess its just me  being a bounty hunter that never really look  into places that are unknown to me. But now I know where to go with the idea I have for a crypto  business.

I tried to start an investment club to speculate in selected low cost alts. I didn't manage to raise any interest, so, as I wasn't really after the money, but really wanted the information and advice sharing, I decided to create a bunch of alt names, and make all the investments myself.

I'm still trying to work out how to build a blockchain coin to use as an alternative to share certificates.

You don't need a "coin" per se. You can just use the blockchain as a nonyielding ledger. There are some economic drawbacks and it would be sort of centralized. Have you tried talking to someone for the development of this idea?

Are you asking from the point of view as an investor or someone looking to raise capital?

It's very evident that he wants to raise capital and he wants to know where he can find investors so he can offer his project and invite them to his investment scheme, even if this section is the right one people will see if it is worth investing.
