I had lots of trouble installing this on my Macbook.  Finally got it on.  When I click on the Lock on the bottom that says my wallet is encrypted and asks for my password.   I also never set up seeds.   This could be from the problems installing it.

I never set up a password to start with or seeds so I have no way to change it or if I get locked out I'm screwed.

I can't figure this out.  Can anyone help?

Its likely a wallet file from an old installation. Did you install electrum on this system before?

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

Does that wallet have any funds in it you are trying to use? If not, I'd recommend just creating a new wallet and saving the new seeds/password and you should be good to go.
