Indeed - capital controls would be a rude awakening for the Greek people (though it is almost a Mt Gox situation - if anyone has any significant amount of Euros in a Greek bank, what the fuck are they thinking?).

Capital controls are a great ad for the value of BTC - I bet that traders are positioning for this in case BTC has a reaction similar to the Cyprus Pump.

we're going to 256 minimum, we will probably test 300 next week, it'll break, then we might see some uncontrollable buying pressure which will make a run to 500, at which point COIN comes online and eats up all walls <1000$ and then media says bitcoin appears to be doing alright these days, then... well then ahahahha KABOOOOOOM.

That's the whole point of it. If everybody expects the dump, it won't happen.

One day, maybe tomorrow or in the far future, the Earth will shudder with the groans of dumps being shoved straight back up the arses they poured from.

Looks to me that some of the whales building huge positions have taken the brakes off, so to speak. And all the support building on the bid side (18k to 212) is a signal, a not-so-subtle "this is gentlemen" to every trader out there.
