Wish I'd found out about Bitcoin a half a year earlier when it was in single digits. I would have bought hundreds at a time instead of dozens and already be rich.
I still can't bitch though. I may not be rich yet but at least I'm comfortable.
Just like you bro ... I bought 5 bitcoins for $20 several years ago. Of course, the first thing I did was send it to SatoshiDice. SatoshiDice supposively invented the term "provably fair" now this has evolved year 2017 into ClamDice(one of satoshis buddys) ===> https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_clam dab mm if u got mm<<<lol $3000 weeeee

most people do not understand BITCOIN and the rest of the OCCUPY MOVEMENT You'd be surprised. Not everybody is a clueless speculative trader seeking fiat currency profits. Some people have actually taken the time to learn how Bitcoin works and care about the real "new world order" of decentralization, peer-to-peer networking and global communities of individuals. This sounds like a pitch for Ethereum. That went up 2000%. Not sure how you missed it. Jimbo and marcus are right about you. Spot on, you are a totally clueless troll, and you always have been. If you can't grok the ethos just gtfo. Codswallop.

I don't understand. I did also send them to coinroll, primedice, just-dice, 777coin, and a whole bunch of others. I even made my own, but have since shut it down.

This sounds like a pitch for Ethereum. That went up 2000%. Not sure how you missed it. The 2 bolded parts are mutually exclusive aren't they? Vitalik Buterin's little centralized toy is hardly part of the real NWO. It may be a source of fiat profits for those who got in early but it doesn't further the cause. I find it ironic that Ethereum was actually spawned largely in Toronto's "Decentral" with people like Anthony Di Iorio contributing to its creation. I first learned about it a few days before its release when Vitalik spoke at a meetup at Decentral's old location. I was fascinated by the smart contracts and innovative multiple POW concepts but chose not to get in because something about it didn't sit right with me. I could have made a killing by buying in at that time I suppose, but I've done OK with my Bitcoins and I feel as if I'm doing something good for the world.

I don't understand how BTC/USD price affects ETH/USD price? When BTC/USD is crashing, ETH/BTC goes up. That I can understand somehow. But my mind gets boggled when I try to figure why then ETH/USD then goes up? Maybe I just need some sleep...

That would make sense. There will be pause at 3200-3500 level, perhaps even small correction before we test new all time high at 4500, perhaps as soon as july.
Then we will see where this goes. I have strong doubts we can make 10k during this summer - and it would not be healthy for the market either, overheating it severely.
We will see.
I don't see it playing out like this. I'm thinking continuation of exponential run-up till end of June, probably hitting 4000s, but possibly more, then a crash in July in anticipation of UASF. Assuming a successful outcome, a new rally can begin some months later. If miners actually agreed on a scaling solution, then maybe this rally might extend higher to 9000s, but I'd not wager good odds on that.

Increase isn't as dramatic and plenty of people here have sat through the 2013 disaster. Times have changed, perhaps for the better. This exponential rise isn't good long term, but short term I like the trend.

I remember so called financial experts popping up on CNBC in late Nov. 2013, when price first hit $1000, saying that Bitcoin would be hitting $2000 "soon". Not only were they wrong, they were off by 4 full years.
I'm fine with going up 200% every 4 years. See you in 2021 at $5000/btc.

Why is nobody panicking here yet? Is this the real crash then? The one you dont expect? We weeded out the weak hands last time around. Now it's mostly just the real traders and HODLers left We are still up this week, so there isn't much to worry about. Even if we go in the red a correction was somewhat expected.

Increase isn't as dramatic and plenty of people here have sat through the 2013 disaster. Times have changed, perhaps for the better. This exponential rise isn't good long term, but short term I like the trend. Most of the people from 2013 predicting double digit coins are missing, and the next wave of newcomers hasn't started yet. After a mega ATH they will eventually discover bitcointalk, then discover this thread a month or two later. Our voices will be lost in the noise of newbies by then.
