Visa in UK and EU broken, sorry for your loss. Prolly a bad server, or Russians. It's like the 60's back here.
@VisaNewsEurope We are currently experiencing a service disruption which is preventing some Visa transactions in Europe from being processed. We are investigating the cause and working as quickly as possible to resolve the situation. We will keep you updated.
You would have thought this would cause a massive jump to crypto even if it is temporary. Surely a more decentralised system is the only solution to prevent such a thing again. Makes no difference to price from what I can see. Friday evening after most people get paid. People are getting mad from what I can tell. Hearing shops are all closing across the UK too. Big stores such as Tescos etc.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Swear to God (yes I am a Christian) this is the Wall Observer thread and needs more moderation. If you want to talk about Nazis, holocaust speculation, silver or gold bugs, people of different faiths like Jews and Muslims or tin foil hat controversies there are other forums that will welcome you. I don't post much here anymore because 1) I am busy day trading and 2) over about half the posts here seem to have nothing to do with Bitcoin. It is becoming a bit of a joke and a cesspool frankly. Just a thought.

It does suck for the consumers, but it shows the benefit of decentralized systems. Imagine if this visa situation happened on a global scale, it would be pure anarchy.

We will change the system to allow us to vote on all foreign policy directly long live "DIRECT DEMOCARCY"Watch out for the fake political parties sprouting direct democracy - voteFlux is one (Fake ass IDDB)

I agree with you in only one point, the nazi-silver shit that r0ach is posting, otherwise the "off-topic" talk is keeping the vibe up. Like said, this thread would be boring and not have many posters if it was purely about BTC price, don't we have many of those in the whole forum? Grow some balls, people getting offended way too easily nowadays. And there is always the "ignore" button.

While on the subject of fake history
What we now know
There were;
Megalithic structures that predate the known flood that globally occurred 6000 years ago
A civilization that today cannot be matched in Architecture.
A global system that spanned the world with similar religion, mythology and the telling evidence architecture.
A global system that was wiped out by a cataclysmic event.

What happens to your $100k in google stocks when $100k is worth a tank of gas?
In general, stock market cap reflects the value of owning a portion of the underlying company. It consists of customer lists, processes, people in positions, machinery, real estate, furnishings, inventory, raw materials, ... Accordingly, if we reach a day (not inconceivable) when a tank of gas is $100k, that formerly $100k worth of Google stock is likely to be worth $200m post-inflation bux.

By that time there will be no google it will be an extension of the military. (Which it basically is) Captcha are a great learning tool for AI project for the military This is to teach the drones how to recognize humans. Everyone knows this right? Nobody ever talks about the holodomor.
Because it's a lesser known event, and not filled with as much controversy as the Jewish Holocaust. What I mean by "controversy", is people doubt whether 6 million Jews died during the holocaust, but don't doubt that many Eastern Slavs were starved to death. There's also the extreme right narrative that the Holocaust never happened, so there is also that conspiracy to deal with, whereas Holodomor is generally not disputed in the historical context. Denial of the HolodomorYou can find fringe deniers of anything. Half the world denies the Armenian holocaust ever took place. Maybe if Armenians were disproportionately wealthy, had disproportionate power in America, and had disproportionate control over every aspect of the media, they could beat the Armenian genocide into our heads from K-12 and at every opportunity. 39.710160, 46.253296

sure some posts can be annoying; this thread can get NSFW images and ideas as well as blatantly racist stuff posted. so what? i would rather make the choice of who and what to ignore than have different opinions than mine censored. the only posts that really annoy me are those useless shitposts about nothing by users that are bounty hunting or whatever to get posts counts up. those can be deleted as they are not even remotely worth reading. content=null, so fine to delete. thankfully this thread doesnt have a many of them compared to the rest of the forum.

I tried an AI chat. The fucking thing started blanking me after it refused to talk me out of killing myself or it. Terrible to say but the AI was right. Not oft thought when you have a gnostic view. Seems to be an insight in to how an AI would view our world. In the Gnostic view, there is a true, ultimate and transcendent God, who is beyond all created universes and who never created anything in the sense in which the word “create” is ordinarily understood. In other words the AI thought your world was Fake. Long live the matrix. Not a new thought either Demiurge In the Platonic, Neopythagorean, Middle Platonic, and Neoplatonic schools of philosophy, the demiurge (/ˈdɛmiˌɜːrdʒ/) is an artisan-like figure responsible for fashioning and maintaining the physical universe. The Gnostics adopted the term "demiurge". To feed the demiurge, an error made by a god in trying to form a material world The "One" God must commit part of itself (soul) to the demiurge When One has completed such journey only "One" knows when.

Your ideal Wall Observer harkens back to the glory days of 2013. Since then, I think the thread has developed its own, unique culture that includes more than TA and wall observation. Though I'd like to see more TA here, actually.

Capitalization of the company is a financial indicator representing the market value of all issued securities by the issuer at a certain point in time. And Bitcoin's capitalization does not quite fit this definition. Because all the shares can be sold to one investor, and with Bitcoin it does not work out that way. A thought for the weekend!!! We are not talking about the market cap of a company's shares. We are talking about the total of a monetary supply! If bitcoin is successful, the total bitcoin value should be big enough to buy ALL OF THOSE companies on that list and more.

When/if Bitcoin becomes a medium of exchange and companies are valued in an amount of BTC it will also be critically expressed as a percentage of the bitcoin total. Perhaps Amazon is worth 1.5% of the bitcoin "float" one day. When your profits can be expressed in a non-inflationary asset the scorecard becomes MUCH more meaningful.
