20%-30% of not happening I will have to deal with that...

I am going to do the most risky bet of my life (which is not much to say as I am extremely conservative) based on that perception. Wish me luck Smiley

I will probably be ok even if I am wrong or things doesn't happen as I do expect as the most probable outcome.

Careful.   We may go much lower in the interim.  Do not put yourself in a position where you are overinvested and feel you have to cut your losses.  Only invest what you are prepared to hold firmly until well after next halvening.

If you want to be conservative, wait until we break the long term bear line.  2014 suggests we will break it around this price level in October 2019.

I was clearly overinvested  in Q4 2017. I can hodl it all right now.

I am just going to morgtage again, for second time in my life, for another property that I feel it is clearly well under market price. My regular income cannot cover it, but I do have enough FIAT savings to pay it for almost 10 years even with no income and without having to sell my Bitcoins.

I guess the worst that it could happen is that I would need to sell the property (probably for more than I am buying it)

As I said I am extremely conservative, but it is more risky bet I have ever made in my life. Wouldn't like to have to sell my Bitcoins at a "bad price". But I can perfectly hodl for 5+ years no matter what.

It's just that I thought I would never buy anything on debt/mortgage again (already paid my main home).... but sometimes you don't have any choice if you don't want to miss the train.

If Bitcoin pumps sometime in the next 5 years I will have made the best decision in my life. If it doesn't, I will probably have to sell the property. Hopefully not losing any money, but it will be a failure for me.

Sorry to go into granular details, but if your income cannot support that second (presumably larger) property, how do you know that they will give you a loan?
Based on what? Your savings? Last time I refi, they were real bastards about everything.

Good question. I will ask my father to endorse (is that the right word when a person gets responsible if I don't pay?) me. He (and the bank) knows I have another fully paid property (which is slightly more expensive btw), I ALSO have enough fiat savings to cover more than half of the price of the second one (not counting Bitcoin). Plus the appraisal of the property will probably show way higher value than buying value.

I assume that's enough to approve the loan. I am in a WAY better position than last (first) time, which I already finished paying after 20 years.

I know you recently, but you seem responsible  Cool, but do not involve your father in this financial operation, banks are like the devil.

My father is rich very wealthy. I am not. I don't need to (financially) worry about him. I only need to worry about the outrageous (people don't get rich by being dumb) conditions he will put on me. I have had a first call with him, after the initial no, he called me back to tell me he is going to consider it because he realises it is a clear "trade". Wish me luck Smiley

Just curious... What you guys would say is the probability YOU give to Bitcoin to be over $10.000 at any moment during the next 4 years? honestly.
100.1%
No, really. Even 100% would be way too much.

Really.

Next four years ? That's an eternity for Bitcorn.

Considering that the next block halving will occur before the next four years, it's simple math and supply/demand that we'll be above $10k before then.

I BELIEVE !!!

Yeah but 100% doesn't exist in anything. Otherwise you would just sell everything and put it into Bitcoin again. Let's just say you consider a 95% chance? That is still a fucking awesome asymmetric bet!

I just like HM predictions for 2022 the most Grin
Only his this year predictions i don’t like so much, but on the other hand really respect his work and sober insight on BTC, one need to have this and be prepared for everything especially this year, i think we could have a BULmarket like a fingersnap, and have Some lower lows as well, so HODL is the most easy, and buy and keep buying if it drops

But you have your home I assume? So not 100% see? Maybe not even that 90% you say Smiley

Or you really mean 90% of your net worth is on Bitcoin at CURRENT price? (No need to answer of course)

The holland guy yeah, that sounds like being almost 100% in... if everything is true and he doesn't have anything else.

Elwar also sold his home and put it all into Bitcoin. So he was sorta all in. But at that time he had (presumably) an awesome salary too so not really risking it all in the bet. His back was well covered... the bet ended being perfectly good and he retired but if it had not, his back was well covered.

but I cannot read your misanthropy misogyny posts. Not in here anyway.

So you're either a cuck or female, of which, both of their opinions are worthless.  There's no "misogyny", simply an imbalance of nature where a bunch of dumb bimbos have managed to claw an ever increasing, unreasonable amount of power for themselves away from the natural order.

Take the ridiculous Ocasio Cortez video on the news this morning of her dancing around in a circle like a fool.  If it was a man acting in that manner, they would be labeled either gay, a large child, a narcissist, a fool, or all of the above.  We are simply removing the double standards so Ocasio Cortez can be correctly labeled as some type of emotionally retarded, large child, narcissist fool just like a man would be.  Enjoy equality!

Of course these people are stupid giving a 100% chance bitcoin goes to a trillion dollars.  Just like I said the other day, people like Peter Thiel probably own tens of thousands of these dumb things and yet he still says 50-80% chance of bitcoin dying.  You're not going to be a very good investor if you make up illogical propaganda and try to get yourself to believe it.

For me personally, I don't follow any of the whole "fourth turning" stuff to the letter or anything, but I can tell a great upheaval is coming both in terms of economics and social issues.  The conflict is taking the form of the "woke" goyim going after the evil cult of Judaism slave masters running the media and financial system, while the Jewish slave masters attempt to use minorities, women, lesbians, and other useful idiots as their cannon fodder street soldiers against said freedom fighters (see Kalergi Plan).

With things like the Kalergi Plan active, they're pushing the war hot, and it will continue to escalate until either the Jew World Order or all free men of the world are wiped out.  I don't see the Jew World Order winning, but they can probably cause a lot of casualties from starvation and collapse on the way out.  I do not see bitcoin being useful whatsover going into this future and I will be lucky if there's an economy you can even use physical metals in at all.

When people say all-in on BTC, hopefully it doesn't mean something as extreme as to sell their house for acquiring it.
I more or less understand it as the personal wealth that can easily be liquidated in order to invest it somewhere - BTC, without disrupting every day life.
Like having $10k in FIAT for standard needs, & $100k worth in BTC. Today. That's an all-in, & this is not poker.

Another example. I'm actually in the process of selling a piece of land of no future use to me - just to accumulate more BTC. Wink

Try tracking a 50-channel DAW session at 24-bit/96kHz though top-flight conversion (e.g., Apogee), with all the plugins needed for a good mix, on your Androne, and let me know how it goes.

why would you bother doing that on a phone. i would think at that point you would have easy access to dedicated equipment.

Took the words out of my mouth. Any real computing, I do on a real Win7 Laptop (HP Probook450 with i7-6500U, 16gbDDR3, 500GB M-2 MVMe boot SSD, additional 1tb sata storage SSD,etc). Runs circles around any silly little phone.
And, I add, recording a 50-track session with several plugins inserted isn't even a task I would trust to a laptop, unless it was just a fun thing. 50 channels of Apogee and you don't have a dedicated desktop machine? Come on.

By the way, do you need all those plugins just to track? How about the latency?

Sure there are bimbos around, much like there are dickheads such as yourself. At least the former are way more fun.

I don't hate women, I'm just not willfully ignorant of their nature and how just about every single way they're evolved is solely to try and exploit or manipulate men in some manner.  I mean, think about that for a second.  As a male, you're evolved to be able to do things like defend yourself from bears so you don't die, among whatever other things you need to do to survive.  Women, on the other hand, in every way from their appearance and behavior, are designed to try and manipulate or trick you into doing these things and dying for them.

It's the men are disposable and women belong up on a pedestal way above you paradigm.  You make believe being tough and mighty and somehow doing the right thing is 'virtuous', and that the woman actually appreciates your sacrifice, but in reality it's simply not the case and you're the biggest cuck sucker of them all.  Yes, there are both right and left wing cucks.  You're simply preaching right wing, white knight cuck-ism.

Whether you want to believe it or not, there are several party stopper, terminal traits of women that make a long term investment in them completely pointless:  hypergamy, monkey branching, selective sociopathy against men, and 100% denial of accountability.  Nature always trumps nurture.  Even if you're a self-proclaimed 10/10, the hypergamous nature of a woman is designed to attempt to replace you with another 10/10 with 1% more income and 1% more social status, or non-existent 11/10.  Hypergamy makes it not even possible for a woman to be happy, they're simply temporarily "settling" at all times until they can find something better.

This is why the overwhelming majority of divorces are filed by women.  It is your job to waste your life supplying them with infinite entertainment and resources, their job to simply show up, and the second they get bored or see a better option, they're gone.  The only thing that stops their hypergamy from going full retard is their looks start to fall off a cliff at age 25-30, so they're forced into attempting the long con of marriage to secure something while it lasts.

This doesn't mean you can't enjoy having sex with women or whatever, it just means that while many white knight cucks do have the best interests of women in mind, the interests of women are almost always to the detriment or at the expense of a man in the form of their time, resources, freedom, and everything else.  Why enter into a legal agreement for indentured servitude and get married if you don't have to?
