I was reading over some WO comments from the July 2015 pump to 320. The vibe was pretty similar to this and unfortunately dumped back below 200 about 40 days later. If we can stay above 6K for 40 days then I believe we get all time highs this year. If not then I expect to see a ferocious dump back to 5k or less. Either way this pump is a lot of fun and everyone will know if we dump that its just a blessing to get cheap coins and not the path to 1500 and final capitulation. Its a bull market ya know The russian government didnt want to buy bitcoins in 2015. I guess they are behind this rally. If they started buying, we will see a crypto cold war. Which side will buy more? Weekend is unlikely time for government actions. Nor institutional investors for that matter.

If even we have gotten surprised by the strenght of this rally I can't even dare to think in which state of negation the shorters must be now.
Need update. Are you coming close to uncapitulation? Yup. it's done. I think we are due for a short term correction though... but that's just healthy consolidation. Will buy the dip. I know that I have been kind of pestering you about this capitulation concept, but it seems to me that you had been kind of using the term to express a belief that we are in a bear market... more or less. I know that you have qualified your assertion, and I also recall that you had been going through some cashflow issues in concern to buying property, too, that had caused you greater frustration with the whole previous bitcoin price/performance status. Anyhow, punchline seems to be that we are both of the sentiment that it is quite likely that we are no longer in a bear market, and that there are decent odds of UP from here, of course with the correction caveat - because of course we are NOT going to get out of any kind of meaningful correction.. that's the way of BTC.

Still waiting SEC - 16 mayVanEck SolidX Bitcoin Trust - 21 mayThis might be your news Lambie (thanks Roman!) They usually announce the delay for these ETFs a few days early. SEC insiders buying to dump tomorrow night...? So VanEck SolidX gets approval Monday 20K by July 4th if so. This action is v. powerful so likely some news in market yes. Well-timed news no less with the golden crosses and other technical breakpoints being well-primed for uppity action. But news has to be big to cause this, like what? I'm suspicious rep. Sherman's bill is some kind of shot across the bow based on insider knowledge of some big news that bad for USD and good for crypto also. A medium to major cental bank is buying btc, Iran? BAKKT is coming on line next week? Fidelity news is big but not this big. JPMorgan annoucing btc trading desk? I think the US-China trade war intensifying last week is a factor. The affects RMB devaluation and trillions in Chinese hot money trying to find ways out of the country. @Marcus - wow great point. Didnt think of that at first glance, but thats exactly what those snakes would want. That is exactly the kind of thing a scumbag would do and of course his banker puppetmasters would have the inside scoop if that kind of news is indeed coming out. He did bring it up seemingly out of the blue, but puppets like that always have a scheduled gameplan and agenda. @spiderbrain- yes, it seems like everything Trump does ends up being good for Bitcoin. Jawboning the fed to stop rate hikes and QT, increasing the deficit with massive military increases and giving the dems a blank check for all their insanity, and pushing for more "infrastructure" spending, putting Bitcoin friendly people in SEC and Whitehouse, forcing China's stock market to tank so they print more money etc, and of course leading a personal pump campaign on the stock market like the world has never seen which gives us a major risk on environment that is fantastic for Bitcoin. Interesting when I looked at the similar July pump in 2015 on WO a lot of the chatter and speculation back then was about the Greek Debt deal crisis pumping the price. Of course now we know in hindsight it was just a early bull market test pump followed by a massive dump. Will history repeat. Probably imo, but ya never know. I just closed my leveraged longs at 7200 but am of course still almost all in on the long term hodl coins. Gonna be a popcorn filled summer.

7300$ Any predictions where the price will stop growing? Investors will fall to the FOMO soon. No, but a pullback to 6200 would be very likely in the medium term, in order to test support. That gives a 15% edge from here, to increase a traders stash. Of course could go higher than $7300, but the low 6k's will need a test of some kind, sometime. A quick look at the chart shows how much work was done with 6k as a base. This run is in a very short timeframe. Thanks for the clear explanation. So in the short term, we will go back to the $6300 again? Most are missing a point. Remember, there was almost no test of support in 2017 bull run. If we're in a serious bull run (powered by some nice events like ETF approval), forget the corrections. Huh? Were you there? There were at least 3 BTC price corrections of 25% or more in 2017.. some of them lasted longer than others, and surely I will concede that after the Mid-September 2017 correction, the few subsequent decently large BTC price corrections were coupled with upbursts in BTC price that those corrections were largely dwarfed by the BTC price upsurges, but did not mean that the corrections did not take place to cause various pauses and considerations about when or if the bull run was soon to be over (or paused for a considerable time). Just look at the charts, there were a bunch of 30%+ corrections all along the way. Bitserve beat me.

I get that its probably not for everyone but I like these guys and what they do. To each there own. It's just that I don't understand the concept of a blockchain week if tickets for every event are gonna cost from $500 to $2000. You know what, I'm in NYC right now (I didn't want to mention it until I had something interesting to post about it. Not sure that will happen lol). I'm not here for long and I've been looking for something I could attend to but there's no way I'm paying these kinds of prices. https://www.magicalcryptoconference.com/https://www.coindesk.com/events/consensus-2019/registerThis should be open to regular folks, not just people from the industry. I'll probably go to the Hilton Midtown (where Consensus is held from Monday to Wednesday) tomorrow to see if I can take a couple of pics but that's probably all I'll do... and that's a shame. P.S : not sure everyone understood that the video you posted is from the Magical Crypto Conference in New York. https://twitter.com/WhalePanda/status/1127242333735591936

We should all go start trolling goldbug forums. That'll teach 'em. Or maybe we should wait til BTC reaches a new ATH to rub it in more.
P.S. I like gold too, but not as much.

Do time and day of this bull run tell us anything about the most likely immediate cause?
It looks like the price has been drifting up slowing until it hit 6k, which then moved into a feedback loop of short position liquidation and day trader FOMO. At some point all the short sellers will be dead and then the FOMO will flip. Without paying a lot of attention, to me it seems the price drifts and then rallies strongly before the candle closes which is consistent with US evening trading. Combined with Coinbase price leadership, makes me think this is a US retail led rally. Genuine organic demand.

2-2-10-4 404 locomotive configuration not found Yeah, that is one weird configuration, it would be a cool fantasy locomotive to have on the H0 setup though. But it would derail on most curves unfortunately.

2-2-10-4 404 locomotive configuration not found Yeah, it's obviously a computer-generated image. You can see the polygons on many objects, and also repeating patterns on the rusted rails, etc. But, what do those numbers you posted (2-2-10-4) mean? Just curious...
