btc is taking a big hit right now, but i did not know it would get to a point where you would need to order pizza for dinner. what is next? ramen noodles? That's his pizza from lunchtime. Then he saw the price and it made a surprise reappearance. Now he's going to have to eat it again as that's all the budget allows.

There's a better iteration - bulls take the stairs, bears take the window.
The classic explanation I heard is bulls attack upwards with their horns, gutting the enemy. A bear will kill downwards by standing on its rear legs till its 8 foot tall or whatever and falling with a crushing action on top of their enemy; thats if the claws didnt already get you. But he/she is probably long dead and would hate crypto anyway. A pure trader should like crypto because the action in it can be so extreme, big moves occur. [I know at least two career mainstream traders who have allocated budgets to crypto for trading] If it was random that'd be a negative but mostly I dont think it is

What do you think when we could reach the 7-8K? Is it safe to use Bitstamp on iOS to set some buy orders ?

Safari on IOS using 2FA is one of the safest less risky ways of interacting with exchanges imho.

An interesting graph of a strange correlation between the drop in btc dominance in 2017 and searches in google: https://www.docdroid.net/dg7lL8W/bitcoin-stealth-phase.pdf#page=4Data suggest Bitcoin will continue to lead the current cryptocurrency industry bull market. When more public interest starts to pick up, it may be optional to diverse [divest] Bitcoin profits into other cryptocurrencies. Very debatable (at least). I am also curious on whether we would peak somewhere between now and 70ies OR go all the way to 90-95% in dominance. The major alt is faltering both economically and ideologically. In fact, VB recently proposed a strange hybrid of eth with "the fork". My conclusion: eth chain is blowing up in size and there are still years to go before they might even approach a solution. The size is already not manageable for a full node/regular user. Conclusion: the time to divest into current alts is probably never, but i don't dismiss beyond the horizon newcomers yet. On another side note that is more about BTC specifically, Biodom, when we were in the $10k-ish prices, weren't you waiting to buy more BTC in the $6.6k to $9k arena? So perhaps you put off buying some BTC on that particular price swing? How's that portion of your plan that speculates waiting for lower lows playing out? <snip> Still waiting, but I am fine with not buying and just hodling.

Safari on IOS using 2FA is one of the safest less risky ways of interacting with exchanges imho. Lolz, yes it 's true! Only, you have to memorize the 6 digitnumber from the duo app very fast to log in on Stamp... .

Perfect pre-halving FUD from the US authorities. Wonder when a little MtGox gets sprinkled on top. Feel we are entering a new era and are in for a wild ride. It is inevitable where Bitcoin goes though, just the timeframe is uncertain.
To future n00bs: No it was not easy holding and buying bitcoins for sub $10k, neither was it for sub $1k. It hurts almost every day, but I am sticking with it and f*cking deserve the outcome.

What The Fuck -- exactly -- are you insinuating, you yammering diarrhea-mouth? y u gett so worked up bout lil ting-il-lieees? Jeez, jbearbreher!! Well, if'n you're going to cast aspersions, you oughta be truthful, and ready to back up your gross invective. Anything less would be uncivilized. Largely, I think that I am fair enough to you, jbreher. No. Your attempt to deflect is forestalled. You are not wiggling out on this. You made a veiled accusation that I was in the employ of the US Government in order to derail any cryptocurrency progress. You tried to say it, while still giving yourself an out should you be called on it. Go fuck yourself, JJG.
