countries are reluctant to announce a possible recession publicly.
The same day my (Dutch) government secretly took over one of our largest banks, after a silent bankruptcy, they were still telling the public the crisis would not hit in our country.
The EU government is also consistently overoptimistic in all of there predictions:

On the other hand, governments completely underestimated bitcoin :-)

Something for fun Smiley It shows how would next 1458 days (full cycle) look like if price change history would repeat last 1458 days. As with all other graphs this one is live so it is interesting to see how estimated ATH is changing over time.

Maybe this is the simulation McCoffee has been using.  The golden cross has the exact same start as the previous one so far.

The only bad news here is, $100k party is at least 2 years away. No party in 2020 according to that chart.

Even if we speed things up, it is still hard to break 100k in 2020 anyway. At least filbfilb says so.

By the way, I wonder who are picking sex 🤪

Well, the OP is getting busy, assuming he votes on his own poll.

I was the 2nd vote, and from the votes so far then (total of 2),

I sure was not getting any. Smiley

Of course, being the OP on WO you are close to 'Godhood' in real life.

So such exotic events like that are common. Smiley

What i'm getting kind of nervous about is the fact that this webpage is currently being built, you can watch the progress. Minutes ago it was a white page with almost no content but a nonfunctional email-subscribe form. This looks authentically unprepared at amateur level. Makes me think.

Regarding Armageddon, I am still suggesting that guys gotta be fucking super careful regarding how much credence that they are giving to Armageddon scenarios that are likely in the less than 1%  likelihood and h9ow much of their value are they investing into such a low likely scenario.

Do the fuck what you like, ultimately, but it is also good to attempt to grapple with the probabilities and don't be fucking investing way the fuck higher than the probabilities that you even assign to such events.  Yeah, if you happen to be an Armageddon nutjob then you are going to assign higher values to that so there is ONLY so much that normal people can  talk the dumb out of dumb, so do the fuck what you like if you are assigning higher probabilities to such situations.

To be honest what matters in an Armageddon scenario in my opinion is being fit and knowing to do basic survival stuff. Owning gold but being a fat useless guy, you're just going to get robbed/killed !

expect large US infrastructure spends in the future. This would be enough for the US to avoid recession alone.

The US gubmint can financialize themselves any amount of currency. The problem is that those in charge confuse financializing currency with marshaling wealth. Funny thing about wealth is that it is tangible, and cannot be zapped into existence by an entry into a spreadsheet.

I wouldn’t be so sure about that.

There are several interesting sub-stories there on unfit becoming VERY fit.

HM, I am at a loss of the meaning. Money from thin air?
My opinion is: garbage in-garbage out, but maybe with some delay.
Personally, I believe in reality that does not involve "helicopter" money.

Chaldean numerology  ??

This is what chaldean numerolgy says about the number 21:

Quote
This number is symbolized by the picture of "the Universe", and it is also called "the Crown of the Magi". It is a number of advancement, honors, elevation in life and general success. It means victory after long initiation and tests of determination. It is a fortunate number of promise if it appears in any connection with future events.

The US$ role as global reserve currency afford the US government certain liberties, such as creating wealth from thin air.  The flipside is you cannot be the global reserve currency without perpetual nominal trade deficits, something that Trump is far too dumb to understand.

money printing != wealth
So, they print more. How, exactly, it creates wealth?
It's exactly the opposite: it creates more debt. I cannot see how having more debt makes me/country wealthier.
re nominal deficits-there I can agree. You cannot be a world's reserve currency and not run a deficit.

According to classical economics, money printing != wealth on the assumption that money printing = inflation

Now riddle me this.

When was the last time that the USA had an inflation problem, and how much money has been printed since then?
