This is my take about PP:
"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

We have been gifted something which allows us to be our own bank and I do not care if Bitcoin is hard to be understood and used after eleven years.

I may concede that this could look like a battle won nonetheless if we can't bring more people on the real deal, eventually we will lose the war against incumbents which are slowly marching upon us.

Am I the only one here who thinks like this?  Roll Eyes

No the problem is too many agree with you.  All or nothing purists which come across as fanatical people.  At the moment I think you should understand an all or nothing attitude is not needed.   I am 98% in my own wallets. To not realize and argue against 98-02 ratios is not the best method.

They are doing this for the sole purpose of being a contender to square and microstrategy, they are just following them at this point and everybody can call it a copycat move if you are so hardpressed to express your option.
BUt even if you do it won't stop them from doing it. You can use it or not, that is your choice.
There are many with the same rebel against the system mentality and have swarmed on to reddit about it:
https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/jfiyvj/psa_paypal_is_a_terrible_custodian_of_both_funds

Some very valid points but it will not deter the powerhouse of paypal regardless.
They do have all of our information and there are alot of people who are onboarded with them from the very start. Embarrassed

Pivot into the momentum from advertisement awareness, use it as an opportunity to educate.  Monetary sovereignty remains the goal. The growing nest of honey badger maximalist will keep this train on course.

Unpopular opinion #1

Bitcoin will continue to pump until the election, then dump the day after.

Unpopular opinion #2

Bitcoin will pump until the second week of December, then dump.

Either way, I see a significant pull back before year end. Then the rise will continue in the new year. That's the bullish part.

Very likely Torque, anybody who expects a constant upwards price trajectory tor the next 18 months or so is an idiot. It’s always good to get a few good corrections on the way up.

I think scenario one is the more likely.

Unpopular opinion #3

Bitcoin keeps laddering up to $25k until Q4 2021 and then gets serious about a face melting pump towards $100k.

If BTC was 78k right here right now it would equal 19.9k of 2017 (from a mining viewpoint)

So to think 100k is coming soon is not that unlikely.
