Blackrock Expands to Europe With Launch of Bitcoin Exchange Traded Product.

Blackrock has launched its first bitcoin exchange-traded product (ETP) in Europe, expanding its crypto footprint beyond the U.S. The Ishares Bitcoin ETP will list on multiple European exchanges with a competitive fee structure, aiming to capture growing institutional interest in digital assets.

Blackrock, the world’s largest asset manager, is bringing its bitcoin exchange-traded product (ETP) to Europe, following the rapid success of its $48 billion U.S. bitcoin fund. According to the Bloomberg report, the iShares Bitcoin ETP (IB1T) will list on Xetra and Euronext Paris, while a separate listing (BTCN) will be available on Euronext Amsterdam.

To attract early investors, Blackrock is offering a temporary fee waiver, reducing the expense ratio to just 0.15% until the end of 2025. This makes it one of the most cost-effective bitcoin ETPs on the European market, undercutting competitors like CoinShares’ $1.3 billion physical bitcoin product, which charges 0.25%.

“It reflects what really could be seen as a tipping point in the industry, the combination of established demand from retail investors with more professionals now really getting into the fold,” said Manuela Sperandeo, Blackrock’s head of Europe & Middle East iShares Product.

Why choose such negative scenarios?  Sure I mentioned $55k could happen as if it were not too likely, but still I mentioned that it could happen, and even with the SBR, it sounds like it would take some time for that to be established.

There are positive scenarios and negative scenarios, and the negative scenarios don't really seem very likely, and by the time we get through 2025 and half of 2026, then maybe we will be pondering if even 5 digits are going to be possible again.. ?  depending on how much BTC's spot price might be able to drag up the 200-WMA in the coming 6-18 months.

I'm trying to understand Sailor's strategy in case of a pullback. Using cash in the company to buy BTC was one thing, but now his company doesn't generate as much cash, and is on a downhill slope. If he relies so much on new money when things are good, he's not going to get any when things are less good, so I only see selling corn as his fallback. And it all looks more and more like a Ponzi.

It wasn't Ponzi when he simply bought it by raising cash via selling uncallable regular stock. AFAIK for those sales, there are no covenants that would force him to sell.
But, now, with preferred stock that has 10 or even 12% coupon, I don't currently see how he can pay that dividend, although it is not much-maybe about 120-125 mil/year/for both tranches of preferred stock.
Perhaps, he will sell calls or puts (or both) on his long stack or simply sell more regular stock to pay?

This does seem like he's moving onto dangerous waters but then again the ultra rich have protections the rest of us don't.

But I can't see a future where he would accept liquidation to make a call.

We are missing a piece of the puzzle and I wonder if it has something to do with his Whitehouse meeting.

Grapevine is a part of the greater "DFW", or Dallas/Ft. Worth area.  Also known as the Metroplex.  Grapevine actually straddles the division between Dallas and Ft Worth... spanning three counties actually.

The greater Dallas area is home to approaching 9 million humans.

Grapevine is a hub for retail commerce mostly...  interesting place.  I have been there.

https://www.choosegrapevinetx.com/

It is very flat in that area of TX... the prairie.  As you might see here...
