Here i am living next to Lakewood NJ the most densely populated hassidic Jewish city in the world outside of Israel.

Waiting for the attacks to start by my town.

Its [lakewood] a large soft target. Route 9 from Bruce Springsteen song runs right through the heart of Lakewood. A semi with a fertilizer

bomb is easy peasy.

I am driving to Lakewood today with food for my retired friend that broke his hip so wish me luck.

To all right in the action I wish you luck and protection from this war.

To those on the edge like my self I wish you luck and protection from a terrorist attack.

Altough at this point I no longer know who the terrorists are.

Well, gentlemen, it has been an honour hodling with you:

UN preparing for nuclear catastrophe 'worst case scenario' including use of nukes in Middle East

Quote

World Health Organization officials are monitoring the consequences of joint US-Israeli strikes on Iranian atomic sites and are remaining 'vigilant' for nuclear threats in the region.

WHO director Hanan Balkhy said: 'The worst-case scenario is a nuclear incident, and that's something that worries us the most.'
<...>
It comes as in recent days, Donald Trump's AI adviser David Sacks warned that Israel could be on a path to 'escalate the war by contemplating using a nuclear weapon.'

Apparently, the Universe doesn't like me getting back in shape after years of being overweight.

When it comes to that, the USA president and his Israeli counterpart should be drag to the world court for crimes against humanity. The world health organization should be ready for that because it will surely happen. Why on earth will some people try to end the lives of every Iranian. Probably the US president and his Israeli counterpart want to wipe Iran out of the surface of the earth. Iran has been sent back to like 100 years backward. If Israel release their nuke, what will be left in Iran? Why is Trump adviser scared of Israel escalating the war? They have started the war so no need to be scared.

Neither U.S. or Israel are wanting to "wipe Iran out of the surface of the earth" or to "end the lives of every Iranian"!

The U.S. and Israel want to prevent Iran from threatening DEATH to U.S. and Israel  - and to prevent Iran the ability of Iran's terrorist country's leaders from making or using nuclear against U.S., Israel or any other country.

Altough at this point I no longer know who the terrorists are.

Maybe missile makers?

It seems that they are indeed the ones that profit the most fully.  And I hope you are able to avoid any troubles in your neck of the woods. Mr. Ma.

I am having a hard time finding a good narrative for what we are doing in Iran right now.  Unlike our actions in Venezuela, our saber rattling at Cuba and various jabs we've taken at neighbors to our north, which all make sense in a way, this does not.

What we are liable to see is an energy crisis that makes the 70s look like tiddlywinks.

And that crisis is going to be for Europe and the eastern hemisphere much more than our own hemisphere.

Along with that, we are putting ourselves in a very weak state in areas that have not yet blossomed into war, like areas of the Pacific, which are liable to heat up if this keeps going on.

I am discouraged by it all, but such is life, I guess.

No offense to any country in the western hemisphere I would prefer it to be one government. And for the most part I would want it to really practice Isolationism. But if it ever happened I would not want Trump / Maga to lead it.

Frankly speaking it won't happen, but the logic of it is compelling.  Of course with peoples customs the way they are it would be a mess. Based on

religion alone I think the western hemisphere is mostly Christian which would like cause a ton of problems if Christians fully owned or ruled all of the western hemisphere.  ( I can say this as a Catholic which BTW many Christians not Catholic say Catholics are not Christian  Huh  Further detail 1 grandparent was a Lutheran so from experience I know a bit about Christian divisions)

Back to btc. I grabbed a tiny bit of but the dip corn today 0.003 btc. along with the mining of 0.00101 btc so the stack is closer to 2.0 coins.

oh in terms of gas prices I love the hybrid.  600 miles on 12.5 gallons of gas.

can cruise on the highway easy peasy and smooth at 70 mph. auto pilot is good.

If you want faster it drives well up to mid 80's but at 88 or more it feel too airborne to grip the road.

Frankly in NJ 88 mph is almost never needed , but a smooth 70 mph is good on the highways.

Oil refinery in Saudi Arabia and LNG installations in Qatar attacked by Iran and the UAE shuts down gas facilities.

Strait of Hormuz still closed.

Trump blames Israël for bombing Iran gas fields

Gas and oil prices continue to rise.

Tensions heating up.

Forced recession to further devalue the fiat to make debt manageable?

Well, and I do think this is a bit of an answer to the question of what the heck.

One thing that many of us who have fallen down the hole that is sound money, ideals, is beginning to understand that not only does fiat money enable endless wars, it actually requires them because without that machine generating the need for more things that go boom, there is no other way to keep the gizmo running.

We align on many values it seems, Mr. Ma.  I too lean isolationist and am only recently beginning to see why having a hemispheric hegemony would be positive.

As a Christian myself and actually having a degree in theology (as if that adds any weight to my words at all...  hilarious), I would just like to say that anyone who calls themselves a Christian and excludes Catholics are fools.

But thanks for trying to get us back to BTC. It is certainly more fun to think about than any of this nonsense.  😁

As I'm sure you know a significant number of American founding fathers and early presidents - particularly among the most prominent leaders were Deists or Theists rather than traditional Christians. Many people do not believe the supernatural and miracle events in the Bible about Jesus in the  New Testament that was written roughly 70 years after Jesus’ death   - emphasizing they prefer reason over religious dogma - questioning the divinity of Jesus that led to the religion of Christianity that Jesus is God. Jews, whence Jesus was a Jew, certainly don't believe Jesus is God... The Catholic Church holds doctrines and traditions that differ from, or are not found in the Bible as interpreted by most Protestant denominations. That is why some Christians exclude Catholics as Christians... I'd think your degree in theology contradicts both Deism and Theism (clockmaker).

What's clear is that they are profiting. Ukraine offered to share their knowledge on drone intercepting drones to every country outside Iran which is involved in the conflict.
The US refused. So it's still $2M for each Patriot intercepting an iranian $40k strike drone.
However, there might be more details i was missing, but many of Irans neighboring countries were interested.
Coincidence?

I personally regard "theism versus deism" in so far as it is popularly discussed as a false dichotomy very similar to the "science versus faith" false dichotomy.  It also intersects with the free will versus predestination argument.

As to the Protestant versus Catholic divide, I believe that every stream of the faith has errors in its doctrine that will be resolved sometime in eternity.

I could probably best describe myself loosely as an existentialist Christian mystic.  And there are very few doctrines that I personally hold very strongly, just a few.

But I suppose this is also far off topic for our thread here.
