I hope you don't mind my asking, but I've seen you make a dozen posts about this. I'm interested to know, do you own any BTC or are you waiting to buy, or neither?
See my signature. I am a skeptic...
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

6h and 4h StochRSI looks bad, altho not sure how good is it for predicting the future Cheesy

i'm not sure either. they look bad because what just happened was bad. there was prior warning though.

There was also this:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=397534.0

1. So far we have popped up as stated would happen.

2. And we have come back down to around the green line as stated would happen.

3. Now I believe we will ride just above the green line following its trend but likely pop up again in the days to come.

haven't we broken below your green "trend" line, anyway?

I wasnt even watching gox during the peak of the drop. And was kinda surprised that it went down to only 950-960'ish? While btc-e went to 827. So either btc-e overpanicked, or Gox didnt react at all.

Some say it was Huobi but there was very strong downwards pressure at Stamp, as far as I can see from large sell walls being put up right in the spread all of a sudden for a minute or two then suddenly gone and flashing back for around 45 minutes. Then the lid came off. Might happen again so be prepared to Hodl if that's your thing!  Smiley

Is this the bottom or we just stopping to let some ppl off before we continue down? The charts indicate still going down, am I reading that right?

I think it depends on the upcoming news, so far it has more of a "silkroad closed" vibe than a "china bans bitcoin" vibe

I don't do this very often, but this time I actually sold 10% of my stash at $890 on Stamp. Take this as a warning from a superstrong hand. Wink

Needed liquidity?

Nah I just want to increase my BTC stash when I see a clear opportunity to do so. Grin

Okay speculation then. That's not what I call a strong hand Smiley

I think he might be saying he panicked?

10% is not panicking in my book, when I panic I go 100% idiot mode Smiley

Not panicking today though, today is all remarkably predictable with a few trend lines.

I never panic. I refuse to follow that kind of sheep mentality. I also never sell more than 10-20% of my coins, and I only sell when I'm 95% certain I can make a btc profit from it. I'm not a day trader, but there are rare moments I'm so confident the price is going to drop that I will sell some coins to buy back cheaper. Usually I don't bother because the stress and time involved is not worth it knowing that long term the price is likely to go a whole lot higher.

A week ago, thinking of hitting 900 on gox was bullish, now going back to 900 seems like the end of bitcoin Cheesy

I'm familiar with what happened after the China news (that helped me to increase my coin) but not with what happened after the silkroad situation.
Can I ask what happened after the closing of Silkroad?

People panic sold after they heard Silkroad closed down. It resulted in a flashcrash, which showed heavy support. In my opinion one of the triggers for the november rally.

Call me a square, but I would've taken the death of silk road as an overwhelmingly good thing. Just goes to show I shouldn't be day trading.

In both cases ppl panic sold and the charts indicate a downward trend, I'm curious to see how low this goes. Thanks for the info.

That would have been nice. I'm kicking myself for not jumping on it when it dropped to $11.

For anyone who hasn't seen the reason for this flash-crash.

flashcrash about 50% down. Quickrecovery, then slow increase and 2 weeks later that whole rally-thing to 1250 started.
