So what are we guessing the bottom lies? 255? Or do we push higher and retest 300 first?
I think we will go to ~$300 and then crash to $250. Or we will hit $292.83 then crash to $247.68, but then we will bounce to $305.43 This is all based on a drunk text I just received from my whale friend. LOL

Love how Bitcoin is such a den of thieves, scammers and con artists that we can't even keep it at one incident per week anymore.
This past week also: CoinTerra to Users: “We Cannot Issue Any Payments” http://newsbtc.com/2015/01/09/cointerra-users-cannot-issue-payments/On /r/buttcoin someone posted an email message: From: Delta Financial support@deltafinancial.com 11:33 AM Dear clients, Delta Financial will be ceasing its current services, including its interest account and trading products, as of January 30, 2015. Funds held in interest accounts will stop accumulating interest effective immediately. We encourage users to log in and submit withdrawal requests for their BTC as soon as practicable. We will use our reasonable best efforts to make sure all client BTC is returned, even after we cease our current services. Effectively immediately, our trading engine will only allow you to purchase BTC, not sell. For users with USD balances over $1,000, you may request a withdrawal via wire by emailing support@deltafinancial.com. To be clear, all user funds on our system are properly accounted for, and this closure is not the result of any security-related issues. Simply put, the financial products we wanted to build on the Bitcoin platform simply require a bigger trading volume than that what exists today. We remain believers in the long-term potential of Bitcoin. We greatly appreciate the support from the Bitcoin community over the past year, and look forward to watching and supporting the continued growth of the Bitcoin ecosystem. Please contact us at support@deltafinancial.com if you have any questions. However, I haven't found any public news or announcements anywhere else. It may be a hoax. It's on the front page of their website: https://www.deltafinancial.com/

The last to go will see the first three go before her. And her little dog too. Whoever's last, tho--remember to shut off the lights.

This forum (especially this particular thread) is full of trolls & trolls sock puppets. It's really gone to shit.
Nobody minds the battle between bears & bulls, they both have genuine reasons for cheering different scenarios to make money, that's fine.
There are so many trolls though, it's really quite pathetic & I feel embarrassed for them.

CEX.IO Temporarily Suspends Cloud Mining Services http://blog.cex.io/cryptonews/cex-io-temporarily-suspends-cloud-mining-services/Taking into consideration our users’ interests, the recent Bitcoin price drop, as well as the upscaling of the mining difficulty, CEX.IO Bitcoin Exchange would like to announce a temporary suspension of cloud mining services provided by the platform at the time of the next difficulty increase. DOOM Wait, isn't that actually good news for the price? I see you guys complaining constantly that there are too many miners and thus the supply is bigger than demand. Am I missing something? Nothing will change, CEX.IO will continue to mine with all it's hardware. Only the customers who purchased cloud GHs will get nothing, because the maintenance fees will become higher than their income. And in all seriousness, let me repeat the BASIC principle of Bitcoin supply. Supply is CONSTANT. That's why the difficulty adjusts to the hashrate, to keep the supply constant. 25 BTC each 10 minutes... so CEX.IO ask for a subsidy from customer... still mining but no coin for customer ?

Bullish? Was nicely seen by the buying in 1650-1660CNY range. Looks like it is time for short squeeze on those exchanges... hope so

Yeah. Would say that many are mining with loss by now. They simply mine and hold hopping the price will go back up.
That would be silly. It would be better to switch off their equipment and buy bitcoin at that point (and arguably better just to switch off their equipment) Not if you bought your equipment which is a sunk cost. At which point you already down on your investment and just keep running as long as cost of electricity < mined BTC. Nope, your equipment is a sunk cost. That money is gone whatever happens. Now, as suggested, there may be some ongoing costs that cannot be halted immediately (rent, staffing etc) but what you can quickly turn off costs more than a bitcoin, it's time to stop (though again, there will be inertia. Small dips are ignorable.)
