Litecoin is at an all time low! $1.12 USD at this moment. Just another sign that crypto is on its death bed.

$165 in Stamp... seriously... if you're still holding bitcoins, you really need to get out soon unless you don't care about losing it all. At some point, the exchanges will probably halt trading and you'll find yourself in a position where you essentially can no longer withdrawal your coins for cash anymore.

who cares if bitcoin dies, crypto can still be done the right way, just regulated and not pump and dump scheme.

believe it or not a currency needs trust to work.

yeah and you think people will trust in altcoins when bitcoins is gonna die?
how about you look at coinmarketcap for more then 1 second  Roll Eyes

3- to see long-term potential in bitcoin is to come to the conclusion, already expressed in the original paper, that it is irrational for an actor or cartel to perform a 51% attack on the network, as it costs more to successfully carry out the attack than what can be expected to be gained by it.

Well, I don't  agree with that.

The "proofs" I have seen usually assume that the cartel has some specific goal (say, pulling a double spend), and a specific simple-minded strategy, and argue that that attack would not pay off, of that strategy would fail.

However, there are many other goals that a cartel may have, and better strategies to carry out the "attack".  I can see some "attacks" that would probably succeed, would have to be accepted by the users, and would results in substantial payoffs for the cartel.  But I have worn my fingers arguing this issue in other threads, so please forgive me for not doing it again here.

BTC is only 50x my entry price (about 3 years ago). Like now, that was a major bottom. Should I buy more? Thoughts?

LOL, I distinctly remember buying 25,000 LTC for 7 cents each some time ago.

It was around that price .05 to .07 in fall 2012 when they opened it for trading and pegged it to bitcoin 30-35:1 which was when bitcoin was like $2

They equated ltc to btc like silver to gold

As far back as bitcoinwisdom charts go. Maybe it was lower around its inception, but still... very, very bad right now.

so what, you keep the coins.  If it goes to $50 (or $5), you become an early adopter and buy shitload to average down.

BTW, keeping anything fiat or coins at any exchange is pretty bad idea.
Keep your coins in cold storage.

The down train will stop eventually.
