Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

we will see about them being realistic once bears really start their attack.

I think bulls panic the best and the last.

Last peak in longs was on the 7th December, with price at ~380$. We need several more days to reach a similar peak in longs,
while price will weakly rebound, but asks will pile up and eventually overflow, so patience is the best bear strategy now. Wink

Is this NLC? Grin

“Chris figured out that he could make profits not only investing in Bitcoin but in hedging against Bitcoin. That means that he invested in the chance that virtual currency would drop in price and become more worthless. When that happened in 2014, Chris walked away with a lot of real cash in his hands.”

I do not deny that there is a huge currency war ongoing, but Bitcoin is lightyears away from taking any part in this game.

This is no war, just competition. While everyone is looking at the usd/eur rate, euro etf's have pulled in close on $40bn since January, and all interest in US equities has evaporated.
