No, the smart thing is to buy and hold.  More precisely, the other traders buy and hold, while I sellGrin

Quoted for future reference, the first evidence the JorgeStolfi currently has or had bitcoins.
One can't sell if one has 0 BTC, any attempt to do so results in "Invalid order: not enough balance" message. Cheesy

JUST BRING THE FUCKING DOOOOOM
...

A quick usage pointer:  You can't have doom.  Ever.
Always being just out of reach, always looming somewhere in the [horrifying] future, is the most excellent, defining quality of doom.

Doom is the harbinger of disaster, a promissory note of endless weeping & gnashing of teeth.
What you are asking for is death & devastation, ruin, eternal pain & suffering (all of which will be starting shortly), but not doom.

It originally meant "to put something in place" , so preparing for doom, is a bit like preparing to prepare. (germanic, related to do )

Yes, if Jorge has fiat on an exchange and actively shorts bitcoin. He should clarify this, but he didn't say "while I short sell".

That's the wonderful thing about doom.
Imagine being in hell, but not realising that you've already hit the lowest lows & lost everything worth living for (*cough* Bitcoiners, *cough!* *cough!!!*).  Doom is there to make your suffering more exquisite, to add the fear of impending hell to your [already lavish] plate of misery.

We think of everything Smiley

but losing $ on fees and backwards trades (you're welcome) trying to not get caught with my pants down on potential dumps / pumps ... can we just get severe up or severe down movement and not more days of this shake shake shake crap yet ?  Cheesy

no, we must maintain this illusion of a perpetual rally-big pump coming up, so all of you noob traders could carry some of our heavy bags.

if you lose some $ in the process due to the fees and sideways movement even better. exchange operators and day traders are grateful.

I guess i've been extremely lucky on the most part with 1 fuck up from last night.  I didn't close my short before it popped back up, so I missed out on 2-3 btc profit.

ahhh you must've not closed it in the high/mid 230's before it went back to mid 240's ... that's a pretty easy fuckup to make though ... it did *look* like it was headed off a cliff and then popped back up very fast ... a very well orchestrated bleeding shakeout if i do say so ... that one nicked me too as i sold low 240s and bought mid 240s having waited too long trying to get low 230's or better ... i imagine more than 1 person got some whiplash on that one ... at least the market looks like it wants to try upwards for the last few hours ... so ... doom , sunnyside up Smiley ... mmmmm doom eggs for breakfast ...

As you could have guessed, I sold all of my bitcoins long time ago. Even before buying the first one.  Wink
