logically ... i think satoshi's actions can only fall into a limited # of boxes - assuming he's got access to his million bitcoins (and they weren't lost due to some freak lightning strike / house fire or something like that), he's been watching his personal value go from over $1B now down to more or less 1/4 of $1B for the last year and a half - not bothering to take any action whatsoever while this is occurring can only be explained a few ways - #1 he's fucking nuts and delusionally believes he's god or some shit like that and really thinks these things will be worth millions per btc some day and he'll rule the world ... basically satoshi is the world's biggest bulltard ... so he refuses to sell even a few thousand btc to even take a couple million $ for himself , despite seeing the value go from $1200 to $200 ... #2 he's dead / locked up in some fashion - this makes a lot of sense actually in explaining why he's been willing to sit on his btc while he's lost now nearly a billion dollars of personal net worth also nicely explains why he's disappeared for years without a peep ... #3 he's living in exile voluntarily for whatever personal reason , has given up on using money whatsoever , is living as a buddhist monk in a monestary or something like that having given up all personal possessions and sworn off money entirely ... #4 he doesn't exist outside of being a made up figurehead by the true architects of bitcoin , who *have* sold their millions of other bitcoin , relying on the mythos of "satoshi" and him not moving his bitcoins as an integral part of the sham ...

so i think those are the most likely anyway ... either the coins are fucking gone due to computer-destroying disaster , he's nuts and holding , he's dead or locked up , he's sworn off money and all personal possessions , or he doesn't exist and those coins not being moved is considered an integral part of the bitcoin scam by the true architect(s) ...

5. He is already a multi-millionaire and doesn't need more money

#6 He's already an intelligent and successful individual, with all immediate needs and desires met. He has the understanding that moving or selling his coins could kill off the experiment while in its infancy. The principle and idea is worth more to him than a yacht filled with prostitutes.

My crystal ball told me we'll go lower and the reversal is postponed...i will try to accumulate as many coins as possible...what about you? Also it's funny most people answered poll the hodl and buy and still the posts are like 99% negative

The polls are meaningless. Bulls game the system with dozens of sockpuppet accounts.
The whole thing's basically smoke and mirrors.

i think satoshi's actions can only fall into a limited # of boxes

I see a few other possibilities:

* He is an employee of some government, so those million bitcoins are not his but his government's.

* He knows that if he sold or spent those coins now, he would be taking money from other people who believe in bitcoin, some of them in financial distress; and he does not want to do that for religious or moral reasons.

* He has plenty of other coins, that he has been selling gradually, and will get to those million in due time.

* He cannot sell those coins, in the open market or OTC, without revealing his identity to someone else; and he would rather see his fortune shrink than to do that.

If he dumped his coins in a bull run, the worst thing that could happen is that we drop down to $250 for awhile. Those coins wouldn't be a concern, people would track him down and take pictures of him in his yacht with them hoes.. nothing more. Bitcoin doesn't need the myth anymore.

Bu-friggin-hu!!! We wave the white flag now. Can we get this mofo confirmed so we can get on with the bull market, please?

Care to elaborate? Maybe on a chart or something. Love getting to know more "obscure" TA indicators and patterns. The way I see it, it's a bear-fest Sad
No. With my "extensive" knowledge of the market, brevity is key.

ok yeah i can see a few of those being possible ... satoshi is actually some government agency's made up persona ... religious moral reasons ok ... those million are not his only coins yeah maybe ... already wealthy enough to not care about losing a billion dollars doesn't seem rational ... idea worth more to him than a billion dollars doubt it ... identity paranoia i guess ... thing is ... nothing to stop him from creating a numbered swiss bank account though so ... i dunno ... governments don't typically release potentially disruptive fiat/economic stability threatening tech on the world that directly goes against their already established monetary interests so i don't place much weight on that possibility  ... the rest seem irrational ... i'd still bet on coins lost , nuts holding , dead / locked up , living in self-imposed exile , or he's a made up persona by the true architects and not moving those coins is an integral part of the established mythos of bitcoin and moving them would destroy all trust in btc at this point ... not sure which one of those i'd pick if i had to choose ... coins lost , dead/locked up , made up persona for purpose of mythos seem most likely to me ...
