I have a strong feeling many of the people posting here should rightly be institutionalized or heavily medicated , or will need to be eventually , as a direct result of involvement in BTC.

On a related note , I had a bitcoin nightmare last night , so I'm pretty sure I'm losing my mind.

It was a dream of looking at bitcoinwisdom , and there were a couple of notable differences , new exchanges that don't exist currently - WALL STREET and PANAMA - price was in the thousands but then it all went to hell - the books were cleared down to 0 as the markets all flash crashed and cascaded and it happened in minutes it couldn't be stopped Satoshi was cashing out and all the trollboxes were nothing but expletives then the screen turned red and the alarms wouldn't turn off then I woke up in a panic ... yeah ...  Embarrassed

am concerned the matrix is broken / i may be a prophet

This is how a Bitcoin Baron looks like

I'd totally smash him

Ah, go easy on him, his dad was seriously stabbed recently. It must be tough for him.

Mind you, being arrested for having an OS that hackers use is a bit like being arrested for driving an Audi because someone used one as a getaway car previously.

"On April 9, a search warrant was served at Tucker's home and a computer had an operating system used by hackers, DPS said. - http://www.azfamily.com/story/28775760/police-arrest-man-accused-of-hacking-az-government-websites

Another bitcoin criminal busted because too cheap to pay for superior windows Cool

Even Windows 10 which comes with a preinstalled keylogger in it is more safer than that piece of trash OS that he used. Probably a linux bastardization like Ubuntu which comes with features that are compromising your privacy. The Bitcoin Baron Criminal Scum will now have to face this hacker

and believe me, this one looks like he's hacking into anuses.

Now excuse me, i have to feel sorry for the Fatty Baron, because his daddy got stabbed. Looks like i need to absolve him of guilt now.

It's weird, I expected a dump when China was awake and I was sleeping. It worked out the other way around.

I understand price is crashing. I just lost ~40k since buy in at 260$

No difference. I see it dropping as low in the worst case as ~190.
At that point I will kick myself for not having money for cheap coins.

Then I see a push to ~237+ by our friends in china.
Some news will drop and there will be a nice run all the way to 275$.
Which is where I will do some selling.
Then it will crash again while everyone sells that news

Question for the well educated folk?
How much would it take one investor to put into bitcoin to single handedly raise the price ?

Not that I have that money I'm just curious

For the most part, but I have a feeling most were sleeping during this.

I don't understand why people think china waking up makes a difference. With price alerts I'm sure they are woken up the moment a shift occurs

You can calculate it by looking at the volume. The entire move down from 300 is just a few extremely high volume market sells. Nothing more. Just tot them up.

Fun fact to all the bears. We are still up about 30$ from this moment 3 months ago

So people who bought in then are still sitting pretty

I'm bored already, worst dump eva.

Good evening fellow bitcoiners and lovely trolls.

It is so funny to see when after each dump which takes the price down even more, you guys pretend that it is just a small and unimportant market move.  Cheesy

What is funny that you expect anyone on here to not see that these moves are anything other than a single trader with a lot of coins to push the price around.

yeah but don't we need the opposite to happen for it to raise the price?

the pattern looks  the same as before, it needs to be broken else cheaper coins are definitely on the horizon  Grin

Only such a hypothetical situation,
bitcoin price falling... and after someone buys all Bitcoins, which are available .. even a miliards bucks, but quickly buying all what is available..
then bring them to the in one big wallet and thrown away password ..
This would have to shut down many bitcoin forever..
or..??
