I don't take the People's Bank of China seriously, nor any bank for that matter. That is one of the reasons we invested in bitcoin in the first place, right?
we've hit Eur1000 again ... wait for the dumbfers to have another go shorting to protect their now losing positions. PBOC probably has no idea their name is being used in Western business press by miners and whale traders to game a few shekels out of a volatile market. Going through my favorites folder and stumbled over this, remember the old 10k BTC for a Pizza? loland guess who is posting on the 2nd page of this thread The years flip on by don't they Every time I read through this I get astonishingly nauseated lol Don't know whether to laugh or cry reading that, $10 million for 2 pizzas. lol

I thought it was pretty cool how I was able to generate so much BTC when I first started using Bitcoin. It was fun and unique. A few times I generated two blocks in a row with my 3000 khash/s. My CPU was pretty fast compared to others on the network.
I sold 15,000 BTC on Bitcoin Market for ~0.003 USD: the all-time low on any market, AFAIK. I had measured my power consumption and determined that it only cost me ~0.001 BTC to make one BTC, so I thought 0.003 was a good profit margin. I knew the price would rise over time due to the deflationary nature of Bitcoin, but I didn't think it would happen so suddenly. ^ who said that?

Look'n pretty good for the home team! I think 1100 is just around the corner. This is all way over due anyways. Just now shoring things back up to par. The halving had to catch up sometime We may hit 1100 before saturday, a little shakes on weekend and a big short at Monday to the 950 levels. After that short we will continue raising directly to the 1200 wall and thats when the true war between bulls and bears will began.

Maybe one day when they price will be 100000$ a coin you will also cry for having sold yours. We never know man

Yes I dit! Not only have I paid off the loans I made for my initial investements, I have also paid off the loan I had for my favorite mode of transportation. Not exactly a boat, but it puts a smile on my face every time I ride it.

Congrats mate! It's always nice to enjoy your profits and actually exchange for goods and services. I invested to hold for the long haul, but I too funded some purchases and vacations with my bitcoin.

It looks like €1,000 euros is going to prove quite an obstacle. We keep touching it but it just isn't sticking!

Not that I'm a defender of BTC-E or anything.. but i went and read your thread.. then their FAQ's.. seems like if you read them.. When you make a wire transfer which your post said you've done.. they put your acc 'on hold' for 1 month. They're not doing anything other than what they said in their FAQ's.. its sucky.. but its there in black and white.

Don't forget to follow current bitcoin price and calculate how much you've lost every time you ride it!

Money hold for more than 1 month. It can be removed by submitting a ticket and providing us with the scans of verification information" I am verified. They closed the ticket four times, then deleted it entirely.

Don't forget to follow current bitcoin price and calculate how much you've lost every time you ride it! I never stop calculating how much I could've had with 20-20 hindsight. And the current price is of course still of interest to the part of my stash that I still have left. Much more relaxed about that tho now that I do not have loans anymore that I need to pay off.

Yeah, I replied on your own thread.
I mis-interpreted that as being scans as evidence of the wire transfer, not the usual KYC/AML stuff... id, proof of address etc.
