upgrading so we get more TPS is urgent.

failure to upgrade within 6-9 months mean bitcoin WILL _____

Die? Fork? Stop existing? Explode? Go moon?

__________ = flat line. Cheesy
Ahh thanks for explaining. Now i can sleep at peace tonight. So bitcoin will be a Tether 2.0  Roll Eyes Still wondering how that crypto could go so flat. Must be some whales keep it stable. On topic: i dreamed about bitcoin that it would go to 200$ yesterday lol. The FUD was real  Lips sealed

No, flat line, like what your doctor and family would not want to see on your electrocardiogram reading.  Grin

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

no i do not. I dont follow him but i think that he is one of the few on this forum adding value to the community. He is makes quite a lot of mistakes so i dont always follow him because it will cost my my btc. I am objective because thats essensial for trading. You cant follow 1 topic. I jumped in at 900 like i said many times before. Please get your facts strait and dont let the hate guide you. Its bad for you man.

its the normal variance...
plus the amount of % hash each pool has is constantly changing as other pools bring on more hashing power or individual hashers switch pools.

segwit nearly at 30% now.
only 30% is not voting for either BU or segwit.
imo we should just HF a new rule that says miners MUST be signaling for either BU or segwit
whoever ends up with >51% == winner
losers just deals with it and follows suit.

wouldnt that be nice....

ya that makes sense I guess but BU blocks found are steadily increasing, just seem strange lol yet the amount of pools using BU hasn't really increased either,,, anyways

Why do we need a winner? Why does anyone have to follow suit?

Why is voting for the status quo wrong? The people who want the status quo aren't allowed to have an opinion?

If the network was truly divided 51%/49%, wouldn't it be better for everyone if these two sides just went their separate ways instead of having a large minority of pissed off people?

Why should we turn monetary freedom into mob rule?

because its not a big difference ...
both sides are marginally different.
whats the "best" who the fuck knows.
lets just have a vote and move on.

it would be very silly for bitcoin to split, when the difference in opinion is so insignificant

This is bullshit. Nobody in their right fucking mind would attempt to use one of these scam coins. The only reason that people go in those is to gather more Bitcoin.
Is that a fact or a wish? One might well argue that the only reason many go into Bitcoin is to gather more USD (or equivalent). If the market cap of alts surpasses that of Bitcoin, many will ask themselves: do I trade alts to make more bitcoin, or bitcoin to make more alts? Bitcoin's army is one composed of mercenaries, and allegiance to profit matters more than righteousness.
This is neither a wish nor a fact. It can't be a fact; it is an observation. Here's a prime example:

BitPay Won’t Use Bitcoin Alternatives For Payment Systems Despite Scaling Issues
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitpay-wont-use-bitcoin-alternatives-payment-systems-despite-scaling-issues/

Nobody in their right mind is going to jump on board of these scam coins. 99.9% are utterly horrible. Only those led on by pure greed would jump on this bandwagon for real (e.g. early bagholders).

That said, UASF Segwit should move us forward towards more capacity and to secondary layer solution. THe price is bound to increase as soon as this get safely deployed. One day we may be looking back at this time, and call it the 'dark ages' of mining cartels. Cheesy

I've said this before, but there is really nothing we can do about it, other than bitch scream and kick and voice our opinions, unless you have a very large mining farm Shocked

Main thing for me is, in the end I want only one coin. This talk of 2 chains is ridiculous.

It's because the differences are much greater than you are making them out to be, and they are fundamental differences, not simply differences of implementation.
