If I keep pressing F5, this is almost like IRC.

Huh why did you have to press F5 in IRC?

this volatility is joke. It can't be classed as a serious investment, we can have fun with it, but 40% falls in a few hours without any real reason, that isn't a serious investment.

Times like this call for sound advice from the lord of bitcoin, MatTheCat:

these markets are just not to be traded

The majority who invest money in a vacuos asset like Bitcoin are certain to lose

So my plan is to look for long setups

I am hoping to walk away with other players money.

Fucking rat cocksuckers. 6 fucking BTC trade with Stop Order

I would gladly see Bitcoin die tomorrow

a cabal of vampire parasites takes its place....

You should also quote the price when each statement has been made.

Only thing I could say is:

Also you once said that Litecoin would give much more ROI than Bitcoin, but it is just melting right now

I think there always needs to be someone on the "dark side" ... so we can feel the opposition and appreciate even more what we have and hodl! Smiley ... And we should all thank Lord Sith Roach for banging that cann down the road without doubt and hesitation! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! For keeping the "force" of bitcoin alive with your reverse psychology attitude that never stops to lose energy from its perpetuation! Cheesy Cheesy

i like to think of crypto like street fighter Tongue Tongue Tongue

each coin is a character...
those who have played the game from street fighter 1, understand the history and the fight styles
the now as the yrs went on, we got more coins , or
sf2 , sf3,sf4,sf5 = more character and more styles ( but there were a core few , never to be messed with and left out the game, due to their age and wide appeal...in this case, btc,eth XRP)
again the players from sf1,sf2 (satoshis gen, then us) days had advantage as they understood the styles of the previous fighters
lots of gd character to choose from, learn a few of them makes you a better player
hope im making sense to some...to those im not.. all i can say is..

Haaaaaaaaaadoooooooooooooookeeeeennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Bottom line is there are only about BTC1.2 generated total every minute. Now look at the 1min volume of any exchange, that means all other coins on all other exchanges are just changing hands ... draw your own conclusions  Shocked

I did not have to, in IRC. I used a standalone client (kVIRC, actually). In a web/forum that was really busy (while Adam was posting), if I refresh quickly (F5), it's almost like a live chat.

Coin market cap. The whole first page is green.

I don't think I've ever seen that.

I also don't think I'll ever understand how it all happens at the same time.

Just to follow up on the long term weekly chart with trendline (posted earlier):

It seems a factor of about 11.7% (monthly) captures this trend line. If this trendline holds, see below the road to $10k:

New here and following. Just had an ahhh haaa moment yesterday after a few lost dollars and watching the books on stamp combined with posts here.  An accurate entry while Darth draws the lines?  I suspect over 95% of the current books by a single hand eliminating chances of speculation which news wont touch.  What percentage of players are privy to this in general?

This was an impressive shakeout.
Reminds me of the one in the week of 18th Nov 2013, it crashed down from a top of 800 to 450, everyone was like: "That's it, it's over guys, bubble has popped."
Then it slowly resumed the climb, at some point the sellers had to buy back in, and this baby went from 450 to 1200  Shocked

A similar scenario might be unfolding right now.
I think this rally is not over yet.
