i think invest in bitcoin is much more safe and profitable because bitcoin price rising to higher value and we do not face to any risk when we invest our money in bitcoin and i if we invest our money in bitcoin we will be get a good profit from bitcoin in the future so i think bitcoin is much more profitable currency than altcoins.

There still is the escalability and fork discussion going on. Even if in the long term the trend isn't broken, may result in some big dumps. Also Bitcoin is not directly linked to any asset, so it is hard to know its real value. And of course Bitcoin is far from being risk free

Bologniex, Plololniex, whats the tiffarencce  Smiley ?
I withdrew the 25000 a day about 8 days in a row. No problem here. Plus the twoandahalf bitcoin i made by lending. I´m living proof.
I almost feel guilty. Almost.

I've withdrawn thousands myself - but I'd definitely not recommend anyone deposit even small sums there until their problems are resolved (assuming they ever are resolved). For one thing, to get 25K you need level 2 verification which is taking months atm.

Furthermore, I'd not recommend you leave any large percentage of your stack on any site for a prolonged period. Counterparty risk is very real - some of us here were schooled in the days of Gox and Cryptsy.

I see $2500 getting closer, with low of 1505 on Bitstamp, and no really big sell wall until 2480.

The patter is a dump, then some small pump and some hours of rest, then repeat.

Remember that walls can be pulled with one click

This last week's Bitstamp low was $2461 and we aren't even down to that half way through the weekend. Going up and down by $300 is almost noise nowadays. It's like going up and down by $30 a few years ago. It will probably repeat the same pattern next week.

I don't understand the continual optimism on the price in the near term. Bitcoin can go all the way down to 1300 and still be following its bull run from Mid 2015. Price near term means very little and frankly the charts are complete garbage if you are hoping Bitcoin goes up from here. I think you need to be long on Bitcoin another 3 years before selling and you should only be hoping that it continues to correct so you can buy more bitcoin for your dollar.

Yeah..its bitcoin....loves the 'drama'

Thus imho, if seg witness 2 with the 2mb hardfork does somehow achieve consensus and eventual acceptance by bitcoin core (thou as coders they will drag their feet....they are
never very fast..even on the code they currently push)

then I would be we would see 5k usd btc by the end of this year

IF IT all goes PEARSHAPED

and splits and a cluster of bitmain coin and the rest of the FUD

Bitcoin will drop below 1K usd imho

so place your bets....btc is only all in on its manic cycle as either too far up ...or too far down

but your point of holding for 3 years is true...just saying this as an aside

figure that timeline in 'rollercoaster time' Smiley

I think I remember when this kid showed up on IRC trying to figure out how to buy some bitcoin ... then it came out that he was 13-14 and he said his dad was trying to talk him out of it saying bitcoin was likely a ponzi, stop wasting his time and money, etc, etc ... I said to him "don't listen to your dad, go all in and tell your old man he's a fossil and stfu if he doesn't understand it ..." ... lol!, everyone on the IRC was like "dude, that's just wrong, kid's only 13,he should listen to his dad, blah-de-blah" .... but I encouraged the heck into him ... probably helped make him into a millionaire.

Maybe we need this massive dump to 1300-1500!
Here in the forum,on reddit, twitter I see so many new people wo have absolutely no clue what Bitcoin really is about, how it works, why it was created and so on!
To me it looks like they are all in for the quick money! And they believe almost any crap they get told,"bigger blocks now", "miners have  the last say if hf or not", "running a full node is crap" and so on and so on.
I think we definitely a shake out to get rid of these dummies!!
And even if we would go into another 2 year bear market! I will go through it again!!
