Wut? You mean the stolen funds are going to the same addresses as the one during the DAO hack? The black or the white ones?

Watching closely the price is at $2248 but I think dump will happen any time soon before the month end because there will a lot panic due to the thirteen participate bitcoin exchanges planning to suspend the depositing and withdrawing bitcoin early next  month in Japan.
yeah, and it would be the logical way for big players to harvest bitcoins from those panic sellers. only question is, if there are still that many potential weak hands ready to panic sell.
We'll see. If it goes down, I'll be buying+ if it should get sub 1500, I am ready to raid my bank account and put more funds into bitcoin + hold long term.

Maybe park your btc in MNE for a while? Low supply, good ongoing development and potential twin release end of August.
If this Alt attracts liquidity it will def be a worthwhile investment until btc is open for entry again in a couple of weeks.
I have parked several bitcoins into ORB 3 years ago Cheesy It has +-same market cap as what you suggest.
But what i need now, is to increase my meager bitcoin holdings, so i have to have fiat ready in case it drops. So im not adding any other coins into long term investments portfolio for now.

Look I apologise that part is not yet proven. I edited my original claiming so.

edit : now disproven- was stupid enough to believe this guy's enthusiasm https://twitter.com/cryptocoinrun/

Being so close to 80%, even if the lagging pools join the signaling for last few hours should be enough to reach the goal.

It will not take many hours for us to have a general panic attack

No need to panic. It will probably lock-in by sunday on the second activation period. Miners started signaling earlier. It should have been started at 21 july.

Buy if there is panic sell. Sell if there is panic buy. Do nothing if there is no panic.

"So far multiple exchanges have issued contingency plans and warnings about the possible network changes planned. This includes exchanges such as :

- Bity,
- GDAX and Coinbase,
- China’s top three trading platforms,
- and thirteen Japanese cryptocurrency exchanges

have made statements concerning these events.

On August 1 specifically, these exchanges say they will likely disable deposits and withdrawals, and possibly halt trading as well.

In addition to the announcements from nineteen global bitcoin exchanges on July 19, the firm Coinbase announced it would not support the user-activated hard fork and its associated token."

Canoe has just started signaling. The others will come soon. Signaling was not suppossed to start that early. There's plenty of room and activation periods even if the first doesn't reach the threshold.

Everything is going smooth atm.

Must be a showman or maybe he confused 5000 with 500.000 Grin

He thinks the real target is 3 million using some special math analysis, so 500k is conservative in his mind.
What appears to be a win/win gamble is most likely a sure lose. Since he's only accepting USD as payment, I suspect very few people will catch that dagger if it happens.

Macafee probably having a wicked MDPV hangover right now. lol

I tried posting that exact chart image today, but it seems that Photobucket is now cracking down on disallowing free image linking. And I refuse to pay a yearly subscription fee for their service.

That effectively translates to "coinbase will confiscate your BTC" (on one chain).
