Great! If you want the price to go up from here just quickly send me +100BTC for me to immediately dump them, you will see how the market immediately rebounds up - it never fails!

LOL Cheesy

I take it you are extremely happy at the moment? And you are buying tons of cheap coins?

No, still not buying. I will buy some at $80ish and a whole lot more at $50ish.

If we don't reach $80ish and $50ish, I will be happy nevertheless - because I'm heavily invested. If we reach those two points, I will be also happy because I will be able to significantly increase my stash.

If we go below $50ish, I will be surprised and worried for mid-term. But I don't think we'll go below $50.

Right. Got it. Not buying.
So who did buy tons of cheap coins right now?
Must be a lot of people because every time the price drops i see all these posts saying CHEAP COOOOINS!!!!1!

I cashed out at $142...the question now is, when to buy back in?

Im pretty sure alot of people just muttered "F*ck you" under their breath.. haha

You have no idea how many people said I was crazy to sell (it went to $145 two hours later)....I've been looking for a re-entry point but its been so weird the last 3 weeks.

I figure a lot of people are just dollar-cost averaging.

Yup, it's bad.
People call it testing. We were testing 130, 125, 120, 115, 110. I call it one or more people dumping massive amounts of coins.

I never place bids in a single spot.

I place them just above different support points, and the bids get bigger to each step down (for example: $1 bid at $84.3; a $2 bid at $71.34; a $5 bid at $51.75, etc.)

Smart idea man! Nice!

The mining difficulty went up to 15,605,633 so a lot of people might have done the same as me and given up mining with their GPUs.  I was only doing it with my pair of Nvidia's because it was cheaper than buying gas to heat my living room.  I also stopped it because I don't need the heat any more either so it's pointless, other than the heat the cards gave off I was probably already making a loss.  Anyway, I bought those for gaming, not for mining.

It's much quieter in here now!

No coinotron is not anywhere near that large, and that estimate is only good after you average at least a week.  You can't see day to day changes due to the wide variance.

Yeah,  I saw that it can drop sharp but to me as a non miner (anymore) was and still is a puzzle.

They don't.  What I'm saying is that the data can show that dip even if mining power was constant or even increasing.

It was the evening before last that the difficulty went up from 12,000,000 to 15,600,00 - that's quite a jump.  I can't be the only one who decided that this made GPU mining much less worthwhile on their equipment

You'll have to do better than that if you want to cause panic around here.
