Not that I could argue with spongebob, but the thing is a good idea, we are a bit underestimating it, according to myself Smiley
But apparently the dump is actually due to a prince in saudi arabia saying something bad?!?
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-10-23/bitcoin-tumbles-after-saudi-prince-calls-crypto-enron-making

This just might cause it to tumble like it has.
AM I right? Roll Eyes
You're about 2 weeks late on that.
How about this one?
Any better? Undecided
nice support at 7000, we are back on track Cheesy
lol
let's just hope we wont go at 6500 Undecided

It is a dress rehearsal, will go down to 5000 € very fast.
Yes.
Due to this stupid Canadian company -

http://business.financialpost.com/pmn/business-pmn/cryptocurrency-fund-nextblock-scraps-plans-to-go-public-underwriter-withdraws

Them and the greed has had them sell their souls to the devil.
The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

__________________________

" The Italian Bitcoin community, while still growing in size and partially “scattered” around the world, proudly includes some very important international actors, such as one of the oldest operating Bitcoin exchanges, one of the most advanced Bitcoin wallets, the two leading startups on blockchain notarization and smart oracles, examples of impressive local adoption like the “Bitcoin Valley”, the first organized lobbying group at EU institutions, one of the most important R&D laboratories, one of the most relevant Bitcoin Meetups in Europe, and so on.

On October 20th, BHB Network published its official statement against the so-called “Segwit 2X” contentious fork of the Bitcoin network, which has been presented during the 46th Bitcoin Milan Meetup. With the present document, other important members of the Italian Bitcoin community decided to share the same position, reaffirming their complete opposition to every attempt to change the Bitcoin protocol in a rushed, irresponsible, and contentious way, political in its nature and without any technological motivation.

The opposition is especially strong against any action of this kind that could cause huge inconveniences for service providers and serious confusion for users, potentially leading to financial losses: unilateral attempts to appropriate Bitcoin name, logo or “ticker”, attempts to mislead light-clients and SPV wallets on alternative networks not explicitly chosen by them, attempts to launch new coins in a way which leave users vulnerable to “replay attacks” or address format confusion, attempts to attack the network with a temporary hashing-power majority in order to create disruptive reorgs or to slow down the normal activity".

"Not one investor is remotely interested in blocksize, capacity or any other monetary vehicular niceties if it means the loss of 90% of the value of their holdings".

Umm... duh?

Quote
(As it does when a suffix is added to the word "Bitcoin").

Predictive assumption predicated upon facts not entered into evidence.

Quote
In other words, the market is arbitrating between stores of value and technologically versatile investments. Bitcoin is the latter so in that respect the one with the least tampering will be considered to have the maximum store of value.

'Least tampering'? You are aware -- presumably -- that The Segwit Omnibus Changeset was the largest ever change to the Bitcoin protocol ever made, right?

Do you believe Bitcoin would have become a store of value if it had not first served as a medium of exchange?

Personally, the proper Bitcoin can serve as both. Indeed, if it does not fulfill the use case of being easily, quickly, and cheaply transferred, it is likely to be marginalized out of relevancy by another implementation that can.

You know, that part of flying really pisses me off. There I am, an adult man in my 30s and they are lecturing me on how to operate a BELT BUCKLE. I can bloody well figure it out on my own. AND when I need to use it as well, thank you very much!

When I was a valet I was driving someone's corvette out of the parking garage. The dumbass in front of me had to back up for some reason, the parking gate was right behind me and I had to back up so the gate was just above the trunk. People were honking, pointing at me and I'm like...I fit.

When I got the car to the lady and stepped out she started freaking out. "What did you do to my antenna!?!".

oops

Well then what about The Last Jedi?

It hasn't been released yet. So will this iteration of the franchise mean the end of bitcoin as it's run has come to an end in the new trilogy? Sad

4) Smart Contracts (A new hope)
http://www.rsk.co/ Ginger Release is Here
https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-startup-rsk-launch-smart-contracts-sidechain-2017/

Note:
Just read a bit more on RSK and sounds impressive

users will be able to run their smart contracts in a platform that can scale up to 2.000 tx/sec on chain and 20.000 tx/sec off chain, providing the scalability needed for global financial solutions
