There is more and more threatening that BCH's hard fork upgrade will have spin-off(s) by some parties. It is said that they will creat "BCH Classic". I think exchanges should be prepared and not losing spin-off coins. Your customers may want to sell it(them) to have more BCH.

Good God! Are they going to give birth to a new coin every time they want to do a software upgrade? What's next? Monetizing testnet coins too?  

Maybe trying to lure people into buying BCH so they can have free new coins after the upcoming BCH fork...

I stopped caring what Gavin thinks about Bitcoin a long time ago. Same with Jeff Garzik. Same with Roger Ver. All these fks could care less about maintaining decentralization. They don't even know what it means anymore.

Now if Andreas Antonopoulos starts saying that Bitcoin is no longer Bitcoin, then maybe I'll pause for a sec to consider what he has to say.

Remember, maintaining decentralization of mining ecosystem is critical. It's the one major thing that separates Bitcoin from Paypal. Lose that one attribute out of all of them, and they whole thing fails and falls like a house of cards. Miners will devolve into a single entity that will then be in a position (just like with BCH) to make all the protocol rule changes they damn well please, and with no one to oppose or stop him. They won't stop with just upping the block size, oh no. They could propose changes to the 21M coin limit (or do away with the cap), or rate of issuance, or whatever else, and make the case for it. And with full mining control, there's no one to oppose it.

BCH is capable of every use case that Bitcoin Segwit is capable of. Plus many more.

Looks like the 2mb blockers are having a hissy fit and selling BTC for the cash crud. I still haven't split my wallets, so I really don't care too much about the whole thing other than it seems to be shifting a lot of hashing power off BTC. Which is making both profitable to mine which means that people will start bringing Monarchs back online which is kind of funny....

There's a reason why they still mine BTC, it's because they can't unload BCH. Higher BCH price > higher difficulty > costs going up on something you can't sell. I did think that that sudden canceling of  btc2 felt too easy, too much resources were spent to give up just like that. Guess now we're seeing their plan B in action
