Morning! So we had a full retrace, but now I'm just underwater! Have we had some encouraging news, or is it a dead cat bounce?

yeah, the inverse correlation between BCH and BTC is kind of embarrassing.

I have the feeling that this whole week-end has been very costly for someone, with a mixed result, to say the least.

anyway, some thing we're looking at a possible double bottom. However, we'd be better off to dip much closer to $5k to be better placed for rising to $10k by christmas

They probably run out of ammo during the last dump, 2nd leg is not as low as the first one.

Sure, hence why we see so many pennants on charts. But I still think that we need to test 5k. Enough big money getting in around there should result in much more pumping

The lower BTC drops and the higher BCH goes the less ammo they (he) has.  BCH is much easier to pump than BTC is to dump though.

Maybe BTC and BCH community can set aside their differences and destroy BTG  Cheesy

BCH community?... Seriously?
This community is 3 men whose egos are bigger than Everest.

Craig Wright - Fake Satoshi who tried to con everybody.
Roger - Who told you Mt Gox and Bitcoin Unlimited were safe, and joined all possible BTC fork initiatives since day one.
Jihan - Mining/chip mafia leader and Antbleed purveyor.

What possibly could get wrong with BCH?

Well, it is difficult to explain CW, I give you that. I don't buy the packaged GA CIA story, and along those same lines I think its likely his support for CW began for diversionary purposes. In any case there doesn't seem to be a shortage of big egos and questionable tactics on all sides.

The amount of bids at Bitstamp is still very high, less than 20 mil lower than ATH (IIRC):

Quote
Bitstamp | Total bids: 103103343 USD. Total asks: 4826 BTC. Ratio: 21359.80747 USD/BTC. | Data vintage: 0.0981 seconds

"Flippening" does not exist as something that is not Bitcoin can never be made Bitcoin regardless of how much malicious actors like Peter R would like you to believe that (yet he acts neutral).

BitcoinGold mainnet is live. Check your addresses here: https://bitcoingold.org/#features

It took a while. Us miners had to wait for the dev team to gorge themselves 8000 blocks for over 6 hours from launch. I thought a premine was supposed to be done before the launch.  Roll Eyes

You're mining it? Do you have rigs? or renting hash?

I just have a personal computer with a GTX 1070. Not going to get rich. But what the hell.

The thing just launched and is worth 5% of a Bitcoin. It's insane.
But what isn't?

It won't last long once the exchanges open up the deposits. Everyone and their mom will be dumping this. It is probably more prudent for me just to point my hash at Nicehash. It's paying pretty good at the moment for Equihash.
I agree with you it does pay pretty good and bitcoingold is crazy it is 5% of a bitcoin and it just got launched but i think it will not last long it is just a hype that newbies have started and it will go down like hell.
