Possible but unlikely. $10k maybe sometime in the next month. The ultimate low (sub $2000 ?) is not likely until 2019.

All conjecture of course, but I am basing my figure on a repeating long term pattern.

Repeating long term figure will not show price will go anywhere down to $4K, that is how pattern looks like. but as i am hoping 6K is the lowest and now it should close in 7500 for the day. and i believe chinese new year will close Bitcoin around 10K

Once could argue that this meltdown could heal in another 5~10 years. But I doubt that. The momentum has been lost, the notation of the currency as a store of value destroyed.

There is bitcoin, which you correctly abbreviate as BTC, and there are forks of BTC (such as Bcash, and BGold and some others), which are the same as alts.....

And notice your little fucking argumentative and provocative slip to put BCH first on the list.... BCH is not first because it came about later as a renegade temper tantrum fork that came about spontaneously when the klanish NY agreement was not achieving the preferred results to screw up bitcoin's governance.

Once could argue that this meltdown could heal in another 5~10 years. But I doubt that. The momentum has been lost, the notation of the currency as a store of value destroyed.

The bear phase could end in 2 years, but now there is the danger of another crypto taking the lead in that time, so it is possible that we have seen the final high.


The best thing to do now is write off your holding, go away and do somthing else for a year or so.

Most people will rant and rage for a few more months, until they reach that conclusion.

From us, at least in part. Most of my fiat profit is straight from the clonecoin dump. Been waiting to see if I get richer in fiat or btc for a while now.

I have learned that the best time to buy Bitcoin (or any asset really) is when no one else seems to want it and has completely forgotten about it.

The relatively high volatility still tells me that we're not there yet.

I agree totally! I ate up a lot of BTC on the way down, so my fiat reserves are a bit on the low side. But I'm starting to set aside some more, and I will get moar korn when the waters aren't muddy anymore.

Give me a break, store of value, ha. Bitcoin is about getting the fuck out of a corrupt system that enriches the rich by taking from the poor. Bitcoin's value is an escape from that system and its injustice, end of story. If it happens to go up to an incredible $ amount, making it a store of value, so be it.

The system is fucked, throughout history it has always been fucked. Now, for the first time ever, the common people have an escape from that system. In 10 years time when current amount of bankers fiat has increased 5 million times, Bitcoin will be there. It will be priced high because not being in the system will be worth it.

I concur but will not write off my holding. It’s just a game of patience, unless you think crypto is suddenly going away and will be ‘uninvented’. Time to accumulate bigger positions in promising projects while the dirt is shaken out of the markets.
