Charts are great for looking in to the past, not so great for Looking in to the future.

A chart is for identifying a trend and extrapolating a higher probability path, bullish or bearish even is a profitable to know doesnt have to be exact.

Heres a chart from a long term trader who comments on the momentum and likely strength in BTC price

Roger Ver: Bitcoin Jesus Becomes Bitcoin Judas

https://theicojournal.com/roger-ver-bitcoin-jesus-becomes-bitcoin-judas/

Does anyone even edit any more?

The piece would be fine, and I agree with its thesis, but proofreading errors drive me absolutely nuts.

I see it more and more in so called journalism, even on big name sites.  The hard bitten copy editors of old are spinning in their graves.
Yeah that irks me quite a bit too. I don't get how a fucking journalist could be too incompetent and/or lazy to publish a decent article. And let's not even get started about the often poorly researched and sometimes outright false information.

There’s FUD around Kucoin running a fractional reserve.   Consider pulling your coins off.

Telling people to pull their coins off of some shady ass fly-by-night Cryptsy 2.0 is like advising millennials that eating Tide Pods could be "a health risk".
Are you saying that it should not be done so natural selection can run its course? Or that it's just simply a futile endeavour?

Ok this one was way off but sort of illustrates the point.
We don't need trolls/fudsters when we have one respected bear to tell us 3 times a page that BTC will go down to 3K. During the tether panic/gox dump, BTC dropped for several minutes to 6k and then quickly gained 50%. Even if it does stay low longer, it will recover stronger and test new ATH's. It seems that everybody is forgetting that thousands new holders are entering each day, while the supply is increasing very slowly, and that the next halvening is coming soon. I am sorry for your illness, but it seems you are still obsessed by losing-it-all nightmares.

TERA doesn’t have any bitcoin’s, $3,000 is her desired point of entry, ignore her. She posts about what she wants to happen.

I see this is as the most realistic shape if there is going to be another bubble. Not months, years. The shape looks good at this will time for the USD to take over from China and for the coders to fix the throughput issues.

This is still my favorite TeraBeara chart from a year ago. According to her long-term prognostications, we should be around $800 right now. Hey, only 1 order of magnitude off!

Accordingly, if Tera believes we'll hit $3,000 this year, maybe we'll hit $30,000 instead!  Grin

I mean no ill-will, Tera. We've needed a few PermaBears to round out all the PermaBulls, and I've appreciated you reining in the troops' lofty expectations at times.

But life can't be all doom and gloom. We need hope, too, and I hope you find yours.

as the chart
the market  is now down in one hour chart
both 50 moving average are giving me signal that market is in bearish
also RSI is going to 30 pints
which means it will going to hit atleast 7000-8000
the previous low of february month

im not that much expert
so, take my post as not that important Smiley

If you are "not that much of an expert" then why are you making absolutism like predictions about the BTC price direction?  Makes little sense.  You proclaim that the charts tell where it is going but then at the same time say that your method might not be "expert" enough.

Maybe you can reconsider your whole presentation, and recognize that technical analysis needs to be taken with a considerable grain of salt.. sure it can give you an idea of market momentum and tendency, but in the end, it should not be expressed with certainties because at best it can show you likelihoods in one direction or another and if you can express those likelihoods then you are likely on a better track than using absolutism language.. and then having to walk back your whole comment.

u get urselfie a grip, too!!!!!!!    Tongue
Making your new year’s resolutions? Improving your fitness might be one of your top goals. Next year, you could do that by riding a bike to work, while earning some cryptocurrency along the way too.
Is this bicycle based mining something that is already in bitcoin or something that you are working on?

In other words, you are a trying to fool udder peeps...

And sure nobody likes Dan. But everyone wants to be Dan. Cheesy

I used to be Dan. But I got tired of arguing with the completely ignorant that were absolutely sure that Bitcoin would fail - and for all the invalid reasons. So I stopped talking about it years ago. Except for cases where I did not initiate the topic.

I don't believe it.

You just switched from bitcoin over to b-cash... and started over,

And I suspect that like Roger Ver on the Alex Jones show, your devolution from bitcoin to bcash caused too much confusion amongst any possible mainstream audience.. peeps already have a hard time understanding bitcoin, and then you bring in bcash trash talk, and you completely lose anyone that has even quasi-intelligent potential..

You saw Ver's performance on the Alex Jones show, right?

*yawn*

G'morning folks.

Bitcorn can't make up its mind and appears to be trying to stabilize around ~$9,150 over the last twelve hours or so.

Anyway, off to get some covfefe, beer, and maybe some air-filters from Home Depot.

It's still too damn cold to use the pool.

At least there is no snow here.

So that's nice.

If you check the daily chart and switch on 200 ema/sma you'll see this is the spot bulls and bears are fighting hard for right now.
Very important level where we are located at the moment. Who ever wins this will decide where we are heading to the next couple of weeks.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Still going sideways... currently $9032USD/$11670CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Yawn.

It's still too damn cold to use the pool.

At least there is no snow here.

So that's nice.

It snowed in Toronto last might. Looked like a Xmas card.

This time tomorrow I'll be back in Mexico. Hopefully there'll be no snow there.
