No you don't. Not since the invention of hate speech.

Hate speech is still legal and protected speech.
Doesn't change that it influences how long you go to jail for any number of crimes. Not to mention that people lose their jobs over it, even when nothing illegal has been done.

Reality matters, not ideas that are not enforced.

Another example. Apple. They are making money hand-over-fist putting out quality hardware.
They primarily sell a lifestyle, an idea. A feeling of belonging to a group. And nothing wrong with that, but let's be realistic about it.

Good mention from IMF head and a praise to Sharia Law possible catalyst to recent price action? Or the tax day theory?

7900 seems like pretty strong support imo

Interesting thing about the IMF's recent support of blockchain is that the head of the IMF is advised by a french libertarian, Gaspard Koenig. Gaspard just recently joined Blue Frontiers as an adviser and has been a big supporter of seasteading since he first heard about it.

It has nothing to do with capitalism.

Why not? Stable, self-correcting systems (negative feedback) are part of capitalism. But unstable (positive feedback) systems exist within capitalism just as well.

I don't know who this is but I think you have to consider the possibility that he's just in it for the dancing girls.

meh, edge cases

In almost every industry the quality of even the very finest examples are being dragged down by the lowest common denominator.

$700 Hilti drill has plastic gears

No dial indicators currently being manufactured to historical standards

Antique machine tools are being rebuilt for industry as machines of similar quality can not be procured at any price.

I believe the debt money is the primary cause of our state of industrial decline.

also...Apple?, quality hardware?  really Bob?

i'm using old asics to mine "bitcoins" ... i'd expect the same for crypto  Wink  weeee

It looks like things will get ugly Bitcoin is currently on its 2 hoursly chart it is forming a Head and Shoulders and we are currently completing the right shoulder. After several failed attempt to go back up above 8,500$ or more we might be going back down below 7,000$ if BTC will not break this formation we need to think of shorting is now until it is up above 8,000$. Volume is also decreasing which is an indicator that the market is still bearish on Bitcoin. MACD also formed a bearish divergence which signifies a momentum going down.

I didn't go to no Harvard or anything so I don't know about all of them fancy words.

But all I know is the bitcoin price is up 1% for the day.

As for "we need to think of shorting"...I can only speak for myself and I will be hodling.

Bitcoin has been fluctuating near 8k for a past few days. It was similar last year around November when the price was fluctuating from 6k to 9k and then it boosted up to 19 k in the next month.
This is the chart of a few days-

This is the complete year's chart-

So, what's the alternative to capitalism in your book? Cause I don't see anything wrong with it. It's the only system, if unobstructed, that self-regulates. Everything else is artificially steered by humans, humans that are inherently incapable of seeing the bigger picture of all the interactions in a system as complex as our planet. And so far I haven't even read about anything that comes even remotely close to capitalism.

Democracy on the other hand... is just the opposite extreme of authoritarian regimes and ultimately not much different.

Capitalism self-regulates just fine in some cases, like it will determine the number of barbershops in a town. But there are other cases: bank runs, monopolies, etc.
Bank runs are only a problem because banks lend out 50 times more than they have.
Which would not be a problem either if tax dollars didn't bail those fruits out.

No you don't. Not since the invention of hate speech.

Hate speech is still legal and protected speech.
And it still ends your career, even if it's a scientifically founded and rational argument that has nothing to do with actual hate. See the fired Google engineer for one very prominent example of this fact. And fuck knows how many went under the radar thanks to the liberal hive mind.

There's really nothing unique about hate speech though. Being vocal about one's unpopular and/or inflammatory opinions is often detrimental to one's career.

Yeah, sure. If you're being a cunt you deserve what's coming at you. But the Google engineer that was fired didn't even get anywhere close to what any rational being could ever even jokingly consider as hate speech. And I'd be genuinely shocked if he was the only one who lost his job (and got blocked from getting other jobs in the area) for not participating in the 60 gender horseshit while being civil about it.
