Global warming? Global warming!

Did you know that spiders don't breathe? They don't have lungs. Instead oxygen simply seeps into holes in their bodies. And as we all know, the atmosphere was denser in older times - denser atmosphere, more co2, more oxygen, bigger bugs. Also dinosaurs. There were dragonflies so big they could have eaten humans, if we had existed back then.

co2 is not a pollutant. On the contrary, it is plant food. Plants take in co2 from the atmosphere and excrete o2, oxygen, the thing we need to live. You may have heard of it. It is the very foundation of the entire food chain.

More co2 means more plants means more oxygen means more animals means more life. It is a Good Thing. In addition, warmer weather is better than colder weather. More people freeze to death than die from heat. So go on, burn some oil. Do your part to improve the world.
I like the "waste energy" lifestyle, but only so that governments will get forced by the loud plebs to dump money into researching abundant energy. Need more incomprehensible future tech today. Hate the warm weather though, fortunately ACs are a thing.
Take a trip to Denmark in the winter. Learn to love heat. I have spent two months southwards just to not be cold this year. Might make it a habit.
I lived in Thailand for around a year, also spent some time in the Middle East. I can deal with the heat, but if I given a choice I'd go with cold weather over hot weather every time. It's just more convenient to have the option of putting on more clothes to negate the effects of weather, which is impossible in extreme heat while outside. Ideally I'd prefer something around 16 to 20 Celsius though.

I live in the northern US, so I'm accustomed to cold temperatures. I thought I would be adventurous for one vacation and rented a little bamboo house in a rural area of the Philippines. In the middle of the summer there. With 110°F+ near-record high temperatures and 100% humidity.

I'll take the cold over that shit any day.

Yes, and that's a good thing, as we just covered.

global warming is not good and it will not make everything warmer and more cosy. It could lead to some kind of new ice age in europe because the gulf stream is weakening.

But reading your post history makes me believe that I should not argue with you. You are a hopeless case Smiley

Hottest day of the year so far in the UK, it’s 77 degrees Fahrenheit. About time we reached T Shirt weather. Hopefully the change in weatger coincides with a change in market sentiment & we start a climb back up in Q2 - Q3 of 2018.

I’m feeling $12,000 by the end of May, who’s with me?

Vegeta by end of this month and 0.001 million dollar by end of May. New ATH by end of year, hundred thousand by end of next year, and then a whole million by 2020. Smiley

BTW, hasn't the altseason begun a bit earlier? I'm smelling some bad days ahead for alts, first bitcoin needs to make a big move up and then alts, not the alts making a big move up and then bitcoin.

Anybody still holding Byteball? That's one of the few BTC airdrops I never dumped. It seems like it's been tanking the last 8 months though.

Never even heard of it, I stopped dumping forked coins after BCH & BTG. I can’t be bothered to move my coins out of cold storage so I can use those private keys.

The only reason you're smug and patting yourself on the back about BCash is that you got in pre-fork and thus didn't have to shell out a dime for it.
But I'm winning so far. Perhaps that's what's really bugging you.

There is no way possible Marcus and his army of bugmen can compete with the coming r0ach thousand year physical silver reich.  So have no fear Torque, it's impossible for Jbreher to win in the end, as I plan to tap dance on the grave of both bitcoin and bcash while physical commodity money curbstomps imaginary, designed to centralize shitcoin tokens into the ground.

Imagine how much more silver bullion you could have stashed away if you'd had the foresight to invest in bitcoin and use profits on that to increase your silver stack? Shame your blinkers cause you to miss out on these once in a lifetime opportunities.

Heres bitcoin versus silver in 2013. That was when the price of bitcoin had first overtaken the price of 1 ounce of silver.

Today lets have a look

Silver spot $17.24

1 Bitcoin $8264

Those figures speak for themselves. Silver has gone down about half. Meanwhile bitcoin is well. Much much higher

I always loved silver myself. But the problem is the market is completely under control. Maybe you'll be right one day. I think silver could make a great form of money.

Fuck off this thread is for BTC

Yes I hold byteball. The tech is very interesting, but the distribution has been botched. I'm hodling for now though.

FYI he's the thread starter or the OP and the moderator here. So watch your word. Maybe deleted this reply later.

End of May, I think maybe end of this month April $12,000. By end of May my prediction would be $16,009 because if you compare last 2016 and 2017 price chart same thing happen that after April Bitcoin price increases 40%. Thought?

The sell wall to 8,5k is HUGE

https://www.bitstamp.net/market/tradeview/

It's about 1500 BTC from 8250 to 8500 ....

... normally we have this from one thousand to the next.

You mean the market has to trade 1,5k BTC to break the 8.5k threshold today?

I'm looking at the charts all day long waiting to see if it breaks the 8.3k mark. There has been a 8.296 peak at Binance a few minutes ago, also.

On Bitstamp yes.

My point is just that normally if 1500 BTC are bought we rise 1000 USD and not just by 250 USD ;-)

Btw I think moderation is well judged. Some people post offensive shite, some people get offended. Its the spice of life that keeps it interesting. If this thread was only about observing walls noone would be here.

No kidding. You forgot to mention zillions of insects though.

This is why I have no intention of using my place in rural Mexico during the rainy season (June-October).

Now if I could only find a place with the climate of central Ontario that was as cheap and easy-going as the Yucatan.

Unfortunately most places with nice summer weather are too expensive to get to, buy into, and live in.

I can fly to Mexico for what I spend on beer and taxicabs for a couple of Jays games and buy a beer for $11 cheaper than at the Skydome and walk down the street drinking it.

I've seen this dumb meme a lot lately of "why do taxes exist when they can just print?".  Probably because chance of hyperinflation would be 10x higher, duh?  Did you people just fall off a turnip truck?  That and they want precedent for extracting from you when they're inevitably forced to go back to sound money (physical silver and gold).

personal taxes amount to a very small part of total gov spending.  Eliminating them would barely cause a blip, BUT: Think of all the Acounants lawyers [the entire IRS] enforcers marshals prison guards etc that would then be out of work, and have more free time to revolt the against the rest of the totalitarian state?

I see! Thank you. Do you think that all of that resistance is part of testing the market for a new 8k floor, maybe?

Yes bro! My favorite after Bitcoin. There have been hard times with the distribution model but, hey, so far so good. One of the best projects around.

Back to bitcoin, i bought some more. 19th of every month is my bitcoin buying day

It seems like you made some cash if you sold them by the 20 something of every month, there have been a few peaks at the 20s past few months, right?

So go on, burn some oil. Do your part to improve the world.

Bbut... but.. my next car will be all electric. My next house will have 10Kwh solar panels, with charging station. All my tools will be rechargeable. The only gas I will burn will be in my fun antique cars that see little use except for weekends.

EROI of oil is slowly dying. Mass adoption of all electric vehicles will help kill it.

Burn it Now, while you can get it!  V8's for everyone!

Yes, and that's a good thing, as we just covered.

It's not a good thing. We need atmospheric temperature to be lower than normal human body temperature. Plus, our cognitive abilities suffer from high CO2. Anyone who tried to study in a stuffy room with poor ventilation knows that. We already went from 300 to 400 ppm in one lifetime.

FYI he's the thread starter or the OP and the moderator here.

Actually he took on the job of moderator after thread starter and OP AdamstgBit was hacked and had already pretty much moved over to the forum that shall not be named.

After the regular mods got sick of trying to keep this nuthouse under control, they closed the thread. When opposition to the closing was overwhelming, Infofront took one for the team and became head shrink.
