What the hell does this volume decline mean?

-Not even Doanld will risk a wall
-LOL bleedout
-No volume bounce is possible, some anti gravity force I don't know about is out there

Ever heard of "Sell in May and go away"? It's a real thing.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

...I warned bitcoin was in a serious bubble last December and I sincerely hope many of you got out over $18,000....

Hah, Coinbase decided that was a good time to hit me with KYC. somewhere around $17,500 IIRC, the pricks. Luckily I didn't have much. Smiley

bitcoin just had a 14.7% difficulty change upwards. that's the biggest since january. there sure is a lot of firepower out there somewhere.

Maybe it's secret ASICs? Smiley

The difficulty increased by 634 billion which is the largest increase in the history of bitcoin. The increase in this period alone is nearly equal to the entire network difficulty 1 year ago.

that is a lot of motherfucking hash

DOJ ramping up to 51%. Tongue

Thanks, great info.

I did not do anything beyond making a response to a previous post, and an attempted clarification of my posts.  Because of your own inner focused delusions, you seem to trying to read more into the situation than exists.  In other words, just stirring shit....

Or just seeing ghosts as in the italicized. Tongue

I have been having a med balancing issue. Smiley

Rosanne Barr, is that you?

I'll take this opportunity to apologize for anyone that I may have offended, I sometimes fly off the handle, incoherently to others that do not have my context. Usually the lack of punctuation and run-ons are a dead giveaway. Tongue

Oh sure... Apologizing is the proper thing to do if you conclude that you may have gone too far, or if you are not sure about whether you went too far.... So fair enough... Yet, in the same light, if you are having some of these kinds of issues, then you may want to post less frequently during those kinds of periods, perhaps?  Ultimately, it is up to you to decide how frequently to post and what to post.. I do think that everyone should attempt to be aware of his/her own medication limitations, if they are present, though.

I may ask for a few more flavors of meds if I continue reading this thread. Smiley

Why am I being called with the bat signal? Do you want another bearish opinion? I think it's ridiculous how every tiny green candle on this forum over the past month has been the moon rocket lifting off, and every chart has found a way to incoroporate a different upwards arrow on it somehow.

Bat signal intent was with an Adam West frame.

Do you want another bearish opinion?

I do, but it would probably be better if anyone could trash the bear case I have put together here:

-Decreasing volume, reversal would require far greater volume, last vol spike for a bounce here was May 22, 40k (1d bfx). Feels like a reversal would need at least 3x this amount.

-Bid depth, not getting deeper, no base for a rally to build on. 10k coins to last high vol support zone from the past (5.5k, bfx)

-Bull trap shakeout pattern has not been violated. 17k, 12k, 10k, all ded. If the pattern continues this would be glade 3.0, it gets a smaller bounce (~25%) than 2.0 (50%) or 1.0 (100%). This lack of bounce is a reflection of the low volume being unable to charge things.

Dream spot here is a continuation on low volume to 8.2k or so, followed by a sharp fall that breaks this triangle everyone is watching and confirms the search for a bottom will continue.

(this viewed in ponderation of other peoples' presently pointing out your posting proclivities may provide probability to give your person pause)

Personally,I perceive your point a pertinent possibility...

Upon my premiere preview of picnickiebearie's posting, I hadn't perceived the precarious parroting of my prestigious and purportedly pretentious persona, which I pinpoint as perhaps inappropriate and preposterous

It is clear that we breakout from the bull flag by going above 7,700$, now that the next level needed to be broken is the the resistance level in 7,800$ if we break through it we can say we can go above 8,000$ easily, but just looking at the volume of the breakout I don't recommend on buying BTC at this level because the volume is not there to confirm a big reversal. If the attempt to go above 7,800$ shows a bigger volume then we might reconsider buying at that level.

My gf trades on localbitcoins and I sometimes help her to set the price to buy back after a sale.

Last Friday we were about to leave for the weekend so I set the price low, to about the monthly low.

I said, if it hits that price then you made some decent money. But if it never hits that price again I'll be very happy.

When it didn't hit the low over the weekend I loaned her a BTC to keep trading on LBC. Fortunately living in Thailand her expenses aren't that high so she can live just on LBC sales.

If the price drops again she'll be back to using her own money and growing her BTC stash.

It shows indecision as we get to the apex of the big triangle. Something big will happen within the next week or two.

So let's say that their is no volume --> nobody sells nobody buys, no bots nothing.
What happens to the price?

It stays the same level , doesn't it?

You brought two other people into a discussion about Luke.

Well, exactly half that many other people, but who needs accuracy when you have the BTC community on your side?

Which one are you saying you didn't bring up? That subtle appeal to authority of Satoshi?

Haha. Touche'. Mea Culpa, and all that.

Of course, we don't know if satoshi (note the capitalization) is a person or a collective, but whatevs.

Of course, to truly win that point, you'll need to demonstrate how Luke's invocation of "the original design" is somehow different than "satoshi's design".

I await your elucidation. Have at it.

Just Luke doing Luke. One more insane rant. What with the earth at the center of the universe, prepare for a PoW change, kill all the non-xtians, and the like.

You really believe that POW change is going to happen in bitcoin?

No. I have no doubt that the result of changing the PoW for Bitcoin will be yet another forked chain that is NotBitcoin.

Yet, this is exactly what Luke-jr has been advocating as of late. Look it up.

All y'all need to get out more.

Quote
FWIW, Gregory Maxwell also believed that satoshi's design was fundamentally and irredeemably broken. And these are the 'geniuses' that so much of the community choose to follow.  Roll Eyes

As if you have any kind of credibility here to be asserting the ideas of GMaxwell in proper context?

You need me to dig up a quote to show how wrong you are?

I think that largely he is criticizing the bcasher nutjobs in their assertions that bitcoin has to "get back to it's original vision," and a lot of the bullshit originalism that bcashers spout out in order to criticize various bitcoin evolutions, including segwit and including lightning, etc.

Get real. We don't dislike Segwit because it is not part of satoshi's original design; we dislike Segwit because it is at best a distracting irrelevant rearranging of the titanic's deck chairs, and at worst a fatal security virus that cannot be rolled back.

ummm, just a kind word seeing as you look to be slipping into dementia in your aged state, it appears you have wandered into the wrong establishment.

The Fundamentalist Church of Satoshi where they are pounding on the white paper bible is further down the road.

Nice try at diversion, MoA, no matter how ineffectual.

You get real yourself and your off topic asserted "we" bullshit.

Bigblocker nutjobs and subsequently Bcashers did not initially dislike segwit until the dumbasses, including yourself, figured out that it was going to be an effective fix to bitcoin in a variety of ways, it was going to largely remove nutjobber bcasher arguments about bitcoin being broken in terms of high fees and slow transaction times.

In other words, complaining about segwit remains only a convenient and distracting excuse that continues to be used by bcashers to deceive newbies and gullible people in some way that the dumb shits can continue to mislead, defraud and distort.

The real we in this WO thread don't need your continuous supposed attempts to correct bcash information that is discussed in this thread... there is no need for the bcasher point of view to be represented in this thread.... so why don't you shut the fuck up about that off topic, because you can otherwise not be so bad of a guy if you were not continuously spouting out bcash nonsense and attempting to facilitate the misleading of folks reading this thread.

You brought two other people into a discussion about Luke.
Well, exactly half that many other people, but who needs accuracy when you have the BTC community on your side?

Poor lillie tinglie.  Getting ganged up upon while going into the off topic weeds.   Cry Cry

Ultimately, you should realize that you are lucky that your off-topic posts are allowed to continue in the thread instead of being deleted, and also, some places will ban you when you continue to post off topic.
