Going for the intermediate top in 4-6 days. After that, we will see whether it is (i) a 2013 recovery after a small downturn or - more severe - a retesting of the $5,8xx barrier, or (ii) a real bear market with testing and break of the $5,8xx barrier. But perhaps there are takers for the scenario of shooting up to $10k in this runup

I think there will be a decline again after a few weeks. Later on, it seems like collecting works from the bottom will happen. For the Etherum, there's got to be some more.

Haha, digged old stuff out - still good and correct.
Small blocks was dictated by the 'best' software devs and a fiat based blockstream, blocking on chain stream.
Bitcoin business devs moved on, since on-chain scaling is provenly possible in the global money world.
Sure, not with Raspis, censure and social engineering, but with decent tech and investment like minres already achieved over last years.
Do you have a BIP? Or are you merely suggesting that folks here migrate over to bcash, since bcash is surely superior to bitcoin with its segwit and lightning network and other second layer scaling, right? KISS is king. Complexity will die or never take off. I agree completely. I mean look at computers, the internet, and automobiles. They're so complex that they'll never take off. That's why we're still using the abacus, 2 tin cans on a string, and horses with carriages. KISS is king.

New Bcash lol fork is called “Bitcoin Core” and will move from 10 minute, 8 mb blocks to 1 minutes, 8 mb blocks. This represents a drastic increase in performance for Bcash lol, with confirmations in 60 seconds. That’s a 10x increase in capacity over Bcash lol. I strongly encourage all big block lovers to move to Bitcoin Core, because it follows Roger Ver’s original vision. https://twitter.com/clashicly/status/1022904910994698240

"Can BTC reach 60-65k" was never a question. Certainly it will sometime in not so distant future. Will it reach it in coming weeks? Easily 99.99% it will not, far too soon. we already decided BTCBTC it's going up on to 100K-200K just like /\brk.a weeee

I know for a fact that 'uncorrelated financial asset' was in play before it shows up on the chart. In 2008 things were very close to locking up, and one of the cause/effect feedback loops were that 'letters of credit' upon which much of the global commerce system operates were about to fail. Should that happen today, Bitcoin (or more generally crypto-currency) could rapidly take over in that role. I would guess that values could go insane under such a scenario. Of course crypto would be attacked mercilessly by some, but some of the would-be attackers would also be heavy users. Not clear how things would play out, but it could be a spectacular fireworks show.

hehe, and it's right back to where it was. That's gotta hurt. That's twice in a week that's happened. The recovery from the dip after the winks ETF was rejected took slightly longer, but it was still fast.

New downward trendline forming - overview Detail of new downward trendline. Open question what happens when trendline and EMA collide. However it is a bit bullish that the price is closely hugging the trendline.
