There is a certain degree of randomness to this calculation because it is based on a rolling average of the past X blocks,
This could also be the reason it peaked to 42 % in the first place. True, could have been a statistical anomaly. Are there any graphs of this with a longer "rolling average" that is less susceptible to change by the most recent blocks? edit: Nameless, I know you're one of the few people here who, like me, won't sacrifice money for ideology or wants.

I see the beautiful double bottom and "W" forming I still see a dinosaur. Everything must be ok then! How is TA relevant when all of this volatility is based on news?

Haven't you heard? News means nothing. Only lines on charts are important.

I still see a dinosaur. Everything must be ok then! Dinosaur is already been formed, its on the 1H graph. Now we need to form another dinosaur, starting from the tail.

42% actually down to 38-39% today so community reacting?
btcguild was owning 40-41% on many occasions in the past. blockchain.info pools info never been accurate one.

How is TA relevant when all of this volatility is based on news? well if you can't tell that this TA isn't very serious by context, you've got more serious problems than news-panic that being said, it still isn't clear whether or not the sell-off was "caused" by the news, or merely exacerbated by it.

This "news" would never have been looked at had we been in a strong uptrend. The price affects the perception of the news. We are all ruled by emotion, and so is the market, regardless of news.

It were news! Mining pool, btc could threaten the USD, China's Ebay will not accept deal with cryptos (might be not new, but I heard this today the first time) and so on.
