There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I returned from Barcelona on Friday. Spent 4 days there. Met a guy from the US in my hostel (yes I was in a Hostel  Grin) who was into Bitcoin. He was advising me to invest in shitcoins like ripple, bitcoin cash, ethereum. As soon as I corrected him by saying "it is bcash" he instantly agreed with me but stopped the conversation.  Grin I probably hurt his feelings.

Met a guy on a flight who was telling me about his Ripple.

Said he couldn't figure out why it kept going down when it was the only crypto that banks were really using.

I didn't have the heart to tell him.

My Uncle had a Lada when I was a kid. I remember it, real piece of shit.

Met a guy on a flight who was telling me about his Ripple.

I bought a load of XRP last year, still holding it, quite funny how crap it is tbh. I thought it might be worth something eventually. Crazy how it’s crashed.

I had a bunch of XRP back in the day when you could get it for doing the Grid mining.  Like doing SETI and trading the work for XRP tokens.   Think I did the Cure for Cancer one.  Haven't figured out where all those XRP's are sitting and don't really care at the moment.   Was using it to test out a new VM server farm I built for work.  Holy crap that thing had some computing power.

If you bought it anytime before the 10th of December last year, you must still be in profit. If you bought it after it hugely got pumped, you're a... well... a fool.

Ripple is probably the most over-valued coin, but right now it ain't the time to sell it. Hold it tight.

I bought XRP in February last year, most sold almost $ 1.5, but still a little left.
