As for volatility, I am pretty much waiting for the next bear trap to buy in again. Now is the most uncertain time for a new wave of newbie buyers and people are going to exploit that.

How the psychology of fear keeps people from buying the bottom..

I think this is a very certain time in the market. I think the price was more likely to go down at any time during the pump than now, after it is already down..
New ATHs are what scare me.. all time highs

But when people see ATHs they feel brave and greed?

Is this why the whales get so rich off of dumb money?

Certain? Falling 1k in a period of a couple of weeks ago is not what I call certain. If anything, the fact that price STILL has been continually been bouncing off lower highs is why I am uncertain. I don't doubt prices will dip deeply once more before we see the rise to 8k+.

Anybody up for a HairyMaclairy inspired game of "Where's Wall-do"?  I thought it might be a distraction from the prevailing bearishness.  Bragging rights only for the winner.

When looking at those criteria, Gemini clearly comes out as the most legit, least scammy exchange.

Have there been any projects working toward combining lightning and hosting data/bandwidth? Like "pay me 1 satoshi/Mb per day or I drop your data".

I invested in Maidsafe about a thousand years ago. They promised something like that. Now with LN, I think it could be possible to do with BTC (save the hash of the data on the blockchain, or OP_RETURN, and have the data hosted on several LN nodes for cheap).

Even if it’s encrypted, how do you trust a third party random to reliably host your data?

Even though the fear level on that site seems to be going down, currently and recently, I thought that I already criticized that website for referring to crypto fear overall rather than bitcoin specific fear.

this is a quote from the site

quot First of all, the current index is for bitcoin only (we offer separate indices for large alt coins soon), because a big part of it is the volatility of the coin price. /quote

For sure!  That's one of the things I love about this place.

Kudos to everyone who tried this challenge.  I didn't realize until after I posted but the google images are from 2012 and look quite different which made it difficult and the Romanian street naming convention (if one exists) made it even more challenging.  There are 7 major roads coming into/going from this intersection which is called Piata Victoriei.  I was standing on the southwest corner of Soseaua Nicolae Titulescu and Strada Buzesti.

Micgoossens - Awesome powers of deductive reasoning (maybe more Iron Man than Thor?).  Piata Victoriei is correct.

BobLawblaw - Your google map link was closest to where I was standing - winner!!

Icygreen - Also very close to where I was standing - good job!

Meh, I wasn't thinking much as far as privacy. More akin to decentralized, reliably hosted torrents. But if you had enough "seeders" you could ensure some reliability. I found blockstack which allows for a lot of interesting things in a decentralized way but you have to host your own data or host it on a website. This approach could add that last leg of true decentralization.

I thought Storj was trying to do this on Bitcoin but they ended up doing like so many other decent Bitcoin projects and ended up creating a shitcoin so they could get rich on an ICO.
