We never know what is good or bad, it is important to not place too much importance on the past or the future. Live in the present.

https://medium.com/@davidgallan/who-knows-what-s-good-or-bad-my-tedx-talk-transcript-8404344779ce

What an excellent story, thanks. Maybe it was not the experience of others, but I did feel a little iffy during our 10K-20K burst, maybe because I could not rationalize it.
I remember my thinking: is it good or is it bad (longer term)?
No doubt, such fast spurt possibly prevented me from cashing out a bit more.

You're welcome!

I had somewhat equivalent experience having hodled from the peak in 2013, I may have sodled too much earlier in 2017 (inverse FOMO).
Now the best/worst is behind me. Looking forward to each day individually. While forecasting is a hobby, it is tough to not place too much significance on it.

Will be looking to increase my holdings if prices dip below $1,000 USD.

....and if one of the ego coins takes over?

ps good answer

By ego coins I assume you mean BCH BCHSV.  How could you imagine that could happen ?  It won't. They will kill each other : it is already happening.

Heightened sense of smell is the bane of my existence.  Some colognes and perfumes give me an instant headache.  Those so-called air fresheners are just fuckin killer for me - they are not fresh at all.  My wife refrains from wearing perfumes and I love her for that.

The really cheap perfumes are made from industrial methylated spirit. The most expensive ones are made from pure drinking alcohol, which is heavily taxed to stop people drinking it. Maybe the dodgy perfumes that give you a headache are the industrial methylated spirit based ones.

Well I don't know if this is made on the cheap or not because the price tag is pretty high but this:

is an instant headache for me to the point of nausea if I can't escape.

I think it's that woody scent which is weird because I have no problems walking through an evergreen forest and in fact I love the smell of pine trees.

Merely a morbid thought experiment for amusement , thread was slow, price action was slow, and I was pondering capitulation scenarios, the whole BCH BSV thing was just added salt for giggles

4th Dimension: Bitcoin-Manipulation-Cartel — Price-Suppression is the Goal

https://medium.com/@super.crypto1/4th-dimension-bitcoin-manipulation-cartel-can-it-be-burnt-no-way-c53de65c166a

Originally reading this I thought it might be crafty fud but after digesting a bit longer I do think the likelihood of it being accurate is rather high.
Thanks for the insight into the dark and scary rabbit hole.
After all, I fight TPTB with BTC because I don't see any other way currently.

trichotomous

Is that a three headed hippo?

Where's your stop profit?

Stopped using them because I always got it wrong.  Instead I chase the price downwards with a scale out of stop losses.  So let the market make the decision.  Its the JJG School of ShortingTM, gradually sell on the way down and then gradually buy on the way back up.

Same for me. If someone walks in slathered in artificial smells I have to leave the room. I would genuinely prefer my beloved to stink of manure if they had to stink of anything.

I asked two of my colleagues at work (on separate occasions) if they would refrain from wearing the cologne they were using - I even offered to purchase it from them so they weren't out any money.  One of them stopped wearing it (and didn't want my money) and the other one said "Would you rather I came to work smelling like BO?!"  Yes... yes I would.

Its been here before, but thanks.  Not so sure it's accurate.  I've only ever seen USA and S.Africa purchases.  Maybe once a Brazil purchase.

Nah. That character's already in his terrible twos. Before we know he'll have painted his room black, be shouting about not asking to be born and snapchatting his hairless pussy to any old perv before he's even groomed without our knowing it.

We need a clean slate.

Back in the day it used to spew the shit outta some China transactions. Back when they had a few shady exchanges and running 100x leverage.... ah the good ol' times.
