Who needs enemies when you have friends like Vitalik

Looking for an ally for his crusade, he will call ??
Now is he saying Bitcoin roadmap or bcashtrash? (Is Bcash abc still around, I haven't followed that shitshow)

Isn't what he's saying clear? He respects Bitcoin's roadmap but he disagrees with some aspects, like for example the PoW... but didn't we already know that? If he agreed with 100% everything in Bitcoin then why would he go and make Ethereum?
Then he goes on to compare Bitcoin with BitcoinSV calling it "dumpster fire" lol Cheesy

Vitalik:

“The BCH community should NOT compromise with Craig Wright to “avoid a split” and should embrace it as an opportunity to conclusively ostracize and reject him. Bitcoin Craig (BCC) can go take the ticker symbol from the now-defunct cryptocurrency to which it is a fitting successor.”

Even in a Crypto Winter, Venture Capitalists Are Thriving

While ICO funding has almost trickled to zero and some seem to be cautiously stepping away from the industry during this persistent bear market, venture capitalists (VCs) are taking their place, making the most of the opportunity to invest in promising blockchain projects before the fold. We may be facing the prospect of a crypto winter, but it’s a renaissance moment for VCs in blockchain.

Like all altcoin creators. Greed coupled with vainglory to be a Satoshi.

------------
Good morning guys. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I sure did, it was very relaxing and peaceful. I feel ready to face a New Year.
The Market seems confused this morning as bitcoin floats in the $3.8k range. A rally in legacy markets appears to be sucking some of the juice out of the cryptoverse as a correlation continues. All of this is leading to mixed signals with noisy resolution.
My take is that we will float mostly sideways in this range and try to finish out the month on a good note and in the green. I would not expect much more than that at this point and further declines are not ruled out.

A slight weakening in the Cloud ahead of us leads me to believe we will finish out the rest of the year with a soft bang.

Interesting discussion around Proof of Stake.  Proof of Stake has no way to hard fork, accordingly issues must be resolved by “community consensus”.

https://twitter.com/laurentmt/status/1077635243845259265

TBH though, it's moot. I don't think anyone cares anymore after what happened in the Bitcoin community. Satoshi envisioned that the fork chain with the shortest PoW record would get "attacked and killed off" by the miners. Never fkn happened. In fact, they kept all forks alive because "reasons", selfish fucking reasons.

So it's a non-argument that has lost its meaning.

Sideways sideways, slowly going up is fine with me honestly.

Bitmain as high as 85% layoffs. Thus prepare for the dump of BCH!

Thus the effect on BTC and other cryptos will be down (at least for a bit) on this coming dump, IMHO. (hope to be wrong)

ah...Bitmain...true evil...when it dumps the remaining BCH and spooks the BTC and other crypto markets again...

I will HOPE it is just sideways in BTC price in the near future as a result

Bitmain: evil never rests...finally may be vanquished!

Surely.

There is nothing better at the moment, apart from Bakkt ETF.

But I like this:

"While many believe that the only way to achieve this is the value of investment in the institutional market, others, such as Stephen Pair, CEO of Bitpay, believe that a more user-oriented approach to the adoption of bitcoins can achieve the same objective."

The two forms are good, one situation attracts the other, that is the correct thing, to advance in the adoption.
