Wow, I have no merits on this thread? Need to up my game a little bit.

Edit: Naah, there's some there. Maybe the blockchain is corrupted or something :-)

Last iteration yielded over 30% gain on my play money.

All closed now, and my heart is light as a feather.

Some call you a slut, but you've always been a good lady to me.
Thank you, bitcoin!
<3

30% ?  For the year's trading activities?
That's just the last iteration. When play money doubles - more or less - I put the excess in the fridge. I made ~220% this year (a doubling, a near doubling, and the final cherry on the cake). It all began as a hedging short when the mammoths spoke to me, then I got carried away.

Mammoths?

You mean large land creatures that resemble whales, but they are not whales?  Or something else?

I felt the need to start doing some end of the year compilations. Here is a look at the first year distributions of WOsMerit's. If you feel there are errors in the chain analysis feel free to post your correction or PM me. Let it be noted these are only WOsM's that I personally issued, if you have issued any the same rules apply as above. Submit for verification and they will be added to the chain asap.

On the last day of 2018 market showed btc a FU sign.

Honestly, I did not expect anything else from the old bugger...albeit, this is a year where I got a new job, so it all balances out in the drama called life.
Happy New Year!

got ledger nano's and blues myself ..... also happy with those

I have a Ledger Nano S too. Also a good device.

well....
i already have one totally dead, warranty replaced.

I also had a lot of trouble retrieving my funds, as i had many small deposits that bricked the ledger live...
i needed to get another ledger, install the chrome apps and retrieve some funds.
For my digibyte i needed to install a sw wallet on my phone with the seed of my ledger in order to retrieve them.
My ledger live is still +_ 150.000 digibytes off that i dont have anymore on that ledger...

leder support i give a score below zero.
Very dissapointed in that device...

curious about trezor experiences.

Most people who push bitcoin do so in order to drive the price up.
The freedom, decentralisation and other "benefits" are just snake oil.

I prefer Trezor to Ledger S.  The buttons on the Ledger feel cheap and I like the Trezor UX more.

Didn't you have the recovery seed?

The way I understand it, you just get a new Ledger, enter the seed and you're back to where you were just before the old one died...

Wow!  If I had waited much longer, I might have been SOL!
It took me 29 hours to ready myself for Proof of Keys.
Bring it on!  Can't thank you enough for the reminder jbreher Smiley
