It requires a hockeystick inflation chart for the entire system to not collapse at peak debt saturation/end of debt bubble.  Which is really just debt forgiveness in practice, with the side effect of wiping out all people who were dumb enough to attempt to save in fake assets like fiat.  I also consider bitcoin a fake asset.  Real assets are physical in nature, not imaginary.

Surely, I do not advocate hanging onto any shitcoins, and I do not do so myself - even though I believe that there are decent chances that a good number of them will pump and come along with bitcoin's next pump. 

In other words, I don't invest into bitcoin based on beliefs of price rises in the short-term future (or merely based on bitcoin being pumped from time to time), but instead based on my thoughts about bitcoin's long term fundamentals, distinguishing in terms of sound money and hedging against my other investments (which are not based on sound money ideas), which is long term confidence that BTC's price is going to be reflected by its fundamentals. There is no other coin, nor asset, so far, that comes even close to bitcoin, in terms of soundness of money.  We will see where that will lead us, including likelihood of ongoing bitcoin battles... even attempts to keep bitcoin's prices from rising, which I believe will likely be unsuccessful, especially if we are looking a few years into the future.

Edit: apologies.  This is actually my daughter's bag of change (wrangled from her mother and I originally) so I had to answer 20 questions before I was allowed to borrow it!



 There is probably over $50 in this bag.  As the denominations get smaller it becomes more of a pain to roll them and exchange them for bills.  The Coinstar machine is great for that though the fee is upwards of 10%.  Can't wait for the Bitcoin though!  I have TUBS of pennies to exchange

Couldn't this work like a faucet where you can only move your BTC once you have a minimum amount ?

LN and/or batched withdrawals should fix any tx fee issues. Or am I missing something?

Also, if I used cash at all I'd be happy to throw my change into a Bitcorn machine for a 10% fee. I lose most of the coins I have anyways or throw them into random tip jars and whatnot.
