Why are you trolling me, PoolMinor?

Even... you are citing me out of context - because there were a lot of generally bullish HODLer thread participants who were mocking the various bear trolls (including me), and making those kinds of assertions, such as:

Cut your looses, gooses!!!!! (and, by the way, those kinds of posts were prior to the mic)

small question, what I have to do with any of that? wasn't around here @2014 ??

gooses rhymes with looses.   Shocked
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Notice how the cartoon propagandist avoided the topic of physical metals entirely because they know imaginary, valueless, digital shitcoins cannot compete.  Including them in the conversation and pretending shitcoins are better would instantly have people label them as scammers so they just ommitted them.  The result is their picture is nothing but a comparison between Chuck E Cheese tokens and Delta airline miles.  Newsflash:  anything that can be sent digitally has no sustainable value.
If you're going to bring that up, why trade metals at all? Let's go for direct farmer-to-farmer trading because we should only live on intrinsic value.

If they see your car they know who you are and where you live, unless you use dummy cars...
"They" are normal people. If the state really wants to find me they will, but no reason to just hand everything over. Let them spend a dime on it.

Most normal people are not going to be searching for your information when you do those cash, in person transactions.  Also, if you keep your amounts relatively low, no one is going to give a shit.  When you start to play around with LARGER transactions, then a lot more issues are going to come up, including peeps concerned about who you are and with whom you are dealing.  I prefer dealing with regular joe blows, and of course there are folks who don't mind living on the edge a bit more and taking more risks with larger transactions.

So if I get this right, if you offered people bitcoin but falsely sold bcash to them, they will only ever have bcash?

Surely Roger Ver has shown himself to be a conman who continues to contradict himself, and you, Globb0, are correct to point out that he speaks a good game regarding ethics, yet his marketing actions truly contradict his words in that clip.

It could also flag a person whose tax return shows relatively low annual income but whose social-media posts indicate something entirely different.

Integration of all three:

If the trend would become toward more taxation (as Davos article predicts), then the rich would probably employ crypto in some form, hopefully, bitcoin.
Bitcoin is dealing with high gini already, so it won't be a problem to absorb a $ trillion or two or ten.

this chart is old but it represents the wealth inequality trend It has gotten really bad over the last 10 years.

I'm sure most of you are wealthy enough or libertarian enough to not be concerned about the younger generation and lower class.  Millenials can't even afford to purchase houses,  most of the new wealth created is getting sucked up by the top.  Baby boomer generation could at least work a normal job and have a good life but today things are upside down.  The thing is this can't go on much longer before the inequality gets too out of hand and with job automation getting worse.  Will eventually be revolution unless things change.

Litvinenko's poisoning in London with Polonium was a not dissimalar MO.  One must ask cui bono, surely?

Wait. You believe Putin would poison someone with Polonium in the UK while having him stabbed by a random hobo in a botched 'hit 'n run' would have the same effect? Do you think Putin is retarded? Emotional? He has always seemed the most intelligent and emotionally composed of all world leaders so that seems rather silly.

I think you have been drinking the western cool-aid a bit to much. What's next? You also think Brexit is bad and that there's any evidence for human caused global warming?  Cheesy

The price...

FML

May is too far away. I need to buy a few things now.

I guess I convert from my US dollars to bitcoins to baht instead of just selling at these prices.

I am sorry to hear that Elwar.

I had rather assumed that you, chasing your dreams with such abandon, were well and truly set up from the previous runups.

Perhaps you are more courageous than I realized.

@r0ach,

my GF is that, let us say in the last 10years the only attractive girl that spoke to you ?

or were there others as well.... IRL for sure not, maybe when you post with a fake profile or something
meh I still think not, just make sure when she write back @your nonsens, that there are no tinkles in your pants, cause I wouldn't like that

Contrary to shitcoiner forum opinion,  I do not look like a neo-Nazi and/or hideous.  Other shitcoiners have seen me before in real life (although not affiliated with this username).  I've been asked to speak at bitcoin conferences in New York and declined because:  1)  What purpose does it serve for me?  2)  I prefer physical metals  3)  I don't even like NYC in the first place.

As for biological robot prostitutes - you may refer to them as women - your girlfriend is just average where I live.  Apartments here cost $500k+, which isn't stratospheric like San Francisco, but anywhere that has above average living expenses or money concentration, there is nothing but good looking women there.  They're attracted to money like flies to bug zappers.  Not that I even know what your girlfriend looks like in the first place besides being 20-something and not obese.

That's one major problem with women nowadays.  They all believe the simple act of not being fat and growing size B or higher tits makes them a 10/10 supermodel and that you're supposed to worship them, when in reality, they're just a regular, plain old human without genetic defects.  They want to be praised and worshipped for normality in other words, while a male being normal aka traits like average height of 5'11, average muscle mass, average income, are traits to be shunned.  The average human male sample doesn't even exist in the eyes of women, but the average female demands to be worshipped as God.

More about the Cryptopia hack:

https://elementus.io/blog/cryptopia-hack-transparency/

"All times below are Eastern Time (GMT-5).

Sunday 13-Jan, 8:28am: Funds begin moving out of Cryptopia's two core hot wallets, one holding ether and the other holding tokens.
Sunday 13-Jan, 11:58pm: With the core wallets empty, residual quantities of funds begin leaving Cryptopia's 76k+ secondary wallets, a process that would continue for several days.
Monday 14-Jan, 6:00am: Cryptopia suspends trading, announcing they are undergoing unscheduled maintenance.
Tuesday 15-Jan, 3:00am: Cryptopia discloses the security breach and New Zealand law enforcement steps in.
Thursday 17-Jan, 5:58am: The last of Cryptopia's funds are drained.

...

...

How much have the thieves attempted to cash-out at exchanges?

...

Of the $16m that was stolen, the vast majority (~$15m) remains in two wallets controlled by the thieves:

0x9007a0421145b06a0345d55a8c0f0327f62a2224
0xaa923cd02364bb8a4c3d6f894178d2e12231655c)

...

The hack continued for days after Cryptopia discovered the breach.

...

After Cryptopia discovered the hack, they watched the funds continue to flow out of their wallets for four more days, seemingly powerless to stop it. As these wallets were not smart contracts, there should have been no technical complications preventing Cryptopia from securing the funds.

The only plausible explanation for Cryptopia's inaction is that they no longer had access to their own wallets.

It seems Cryptopia not only lost their funds, they also lost access to all, or nearly all, of their 76k+ Ethereum wallets.

One possible explanation is that Cryptopia had their private keys stored in a single server with no redundancy. If the thieves managed to gain access to this server, they could have downloaded the private keys before wiping them from the server, leaving Cryptopia unable to access their own wallets.

...

2,000 Ethereum wallets and $46k in Ether remain at risk.

We count about 2,000 remaining Cryptopia wallets holding a combined balance of ~380 ETH (about $46k). Most of these funds were deposited by Cryptopia users after the initial hack took place, apparently unaware of the security breach."

Trump doesn't have the balls or desire to change America.  It seems blatantly obvious at this point.  In order to do so, you would have to jail or put many people in front of firing squads, 50% or more of them Jewish.  Dyncorp and Clinton foundation affiliates were caught red-handed in child sex trafficking.  Do you see ANYONE from Dyncorp going to jail?  NOPE.

He is not doing jack shit to reform America at this point.  He's even trying to give amnesty to all 40 million illegal Mexican criminal invaders.  They're not "dreamers", they're criminals.  George Soros and the Kalergi plan?  Not shit done to stop it.  You know what would cost far less than $5 billion to build a wall to stop Kalergi plan criminal invaders?  Seizing George Soros' assets, issuing arrest warrants, jailing him.  Has he done ANYTHING to try and stop Soros? Not lifted a single finger.  Russia at least banned his Jewish supremacist NGOs designed to try and destabilize white civilizations.
