you are dying of Chron's, and you leave no backup...

It's a really shitty thing to do.

ISWYDT

For $190 million, dying in India, I’m going to want to see a body.  Or at the very least a Canadian’s coroners certificate.

Was the body returned to Canada?

An Indian death certificate yeah?

If all we have is an Indian death certificate and his body was “cremated” and the exchange staff don’t even know where the wallets are (to monitor movements) then the probability of an exit scam gets pretty high.

Chain analysis will help but that will take ages unless there are known cold wallets.

Little triangles.
Who wants to take a dip?

Bigger triangles.
We are still testing resistance against the 0.382 fib. A breakout above this would head us towards the psychological barrier of $3.5k and the next area of resistance, the 0.5 fib. Failing that I think we would be testing support levels at the 0.236 fib shortly.

Reading further, this didn’t happen out of the blue

Users have been complaining about withdrawal issues and a lack of communication from QuadrigaCX’s team for months, with concerns exacerbated earlier this week when the website went down entirely for maintenance.

I think that by February 14 Bitcoin will reach $4000.

~snip~

You got a very cool hat. Can I find out the history of the appearance of such avatars?

I love working with graphics. Slightly redid your GIF. I think Homer will look very good. Someday I will wear a hat too.

Avatar:

Not bad but the patch on the hat is supposed to have texture.  You need to use grain merge or multiply when applying your images to it.
All hats stem from one particular Gorin Bros. hat (Pointer) which was used to make HairyMaclairy's for a hat-eating contest... at least that's my recollection.

Did someone promise to eat his hat if the price went below a particular level?

You are on the wrong chain, this is the spend spend spend chain of Bitcoin.
It went to enormous lengths (to the extend of sacrificing 50 forks ) to be able to have massive traffic so you can shop til you drop.
For Hodling, blocksize is irrelevant, 5 buck fee so, what once every couple of years.
Hodling defeats the purpose if creating the segwit hardfork.

Bitcoin SV and Bitcoin Cash are pure breed Bitcoin. (Thoroughbred versions, Pedigree Bitcoin)
Segregated Witness version transformed Bitcoin a half-breed mongrel (Child of Bitcoin breeding with scam XRP, banking channel establishment)

Tempted to delete. Leaving for the lulz

I agree with you that overall the post probably is not necessary for deletion because of its general ridiculousness and kind of shows how either out of touch some of the posters in this thread can be... in this case ðºÞæ... what a fucking weird user name, too?

I fear, curled up in a ball, in the corner of a padded room somewhere, comfortably sedated, mumbling nonsensically about the fabric of space and time being interwoven with Bitcoin and physical matter, where everyone is wearing Bitcoin-Fabric meta-material-based pants with hideously contrasting hats and sox.

QuadrigaCX just Gox'd their customers. The owner died and no one can access the cold storage: https://www.coindesk.com/quadriga-creditor-protection-filing

Quote
Troubled Canadian crypto exchange QuadrigaCX owes its customers $190 million and cannot access most of the funds, according to a court filing obtained by CoinDesk.

The exchange holds roughly 26,500 bitcoin ($92.3 million USD), 11,000 bitcoin cash ($1.3 million), 11,000 bitcoin cash SV ($707,000), 35,000 bitcoin gold ($352,000), nearly 200,000 litecoin ($6.5 million) and about 430,000 ether ($46 million), totaling $147 million, according to the affidavit.

It was not clear what portion of the exchange’s crypto holding were kept in cold storage, versus its hot wallet. In the affidavit, Robertson explained that “only a minimal amount of coins” were stored in the hot wallet, but specifics were not provided.
